USPS lost mail

Has anyone ever had lost mail with USPS. I have delivery conf but it shows up as not delivered. How long can it take for priority mail?

did you try reading their FAQ's at www.usps.com ...

Yeah I know they're really messed up ... I've had a tracking number for 3 days now and it hasn't worked yet.

Yes Around 5-12 Bussiness Days Excluding Sat. For Priorty And Standard.
Remember Delivery Conf. Is Not A Tracking # Only Verifies Pack Was Delivered And What Zip And Area. And Those Dont Show Up Sometimes Until 3-5 Days Later
Tracking # On Express Pretty Much Only Works If Its 2nd Day Delivery Or Pretty Much Once The Package Has Been Delivered, Go Figure
I Do Have To Salute Ups They Have Know Risen To The Top And Have Been Beyond On Time For Me In The Past Months,
Fed-ex Has Know Slipped Into The Unknown Im Not Sure If They Will Ever Catch Back Up, I Really Like D Those Boxes Toooh Well

Thanks guys, its been a while, from now on i'm using express or UPS.

As Sizer says,,,Delivery Confirmation#'s are just that...Sometimes it will work as a tracking # but thats not an absolute,,,Myself I know many Postmen and ladies,,,Hardworking people,,,BTW the USPS is the most efficient and cheapest mail system in the world,,,They handle over a billion packs a month just domestically,,,VDC
