Vitamin/supplement questions

How long does it take for vitamins to start reflecting on blood work? Say you’re deficient somewhere and you take that vitamin, how long to retest?

+

Should I change the consistency of my vitamin intake? Like when I cruise should I take one packet of animal pak/ day instead of 2 (like I would when I blast) for example since I’m using less compound? Or should I keep it the same consistently?

Depends on the Bioavailability of the vitamin form.

Regarding how much vitamins you need to take well run blood work being overdosed on vitamins and minerals ain't good and can lead to toxicity.

Your questions are too general. Specifics would help us be able to answer you.

This is a complicated topic.
Thinking about taking animal pak (just half a serving so one packet a day), fish oil (heart problems run in my family), beef liver supplements (I’m anemic), and a probiotic for gut health and digestion while bulking. I was thinking if since I’m using more of my compounds I should get more support from vitamins so maybe a full dose of animal pak (2 packets daily)? Or not since I’m eating more. Same question reversed, should I take more while cutting since I’m eating less? Or just keep it consistent with a full serving? I just wanna avoid vitamin toxicity.

I’m getting bloodwork for my mid cruise in a couple weeks just trying to get research in now.

Current cruise:
200 test
100 primo

Next blast:
600 test
300 primo
25 mk 677 / daily

Current cutting Diet:
~1800 calories
~250g protein
<50g carbs
~70g fat

Weight: 205 lbs
Height: 6’2
Bf %: Idk yet (upcoming appointment)

Animal Pak isn't a good product. I would try another product. I always recommend something like Life Extension Two per day.

I would keep the vitamin dose consistent, whether cutting or bulking, because modern food is nutritionally deficient, and no matter how much food you eat, you aren't getting anywhere close to the nutrition your body needs. That's why supplementation is so critically important. I don't think you can go wrong by taking extra vitamins, except for things like the diarrhea you will get if you take more than the 400mg magnesium oxide than what is in the two packs of Animal Pak.

Also the government declared daily values for nutrients aren't to be taken seriously. You have to look at each substance on a case by case basis.

I wouldn't take fish oil. I would take liver tabs and eat liver. Please read about copper and the heart. A reason why are anemia presents is often because or copper deficiency.

I have a ton of recommendations. I take like 100 different supplements, so this is my area of interest.

Yeah I’m going to have to get blood work and see where I’m at for specific deficiencies.

What are your thoughts about fish oil? I’ll look into the copper for your heart as well. Fucking with AA’s make me wanna be more careful and animal pak looked nuts so I thought it was ok, just want the heart protected for when I go harder on the cutting supplements (Clen is known to make your heart work harder so I wanna make sure I’m good). Take my blood pressure normally, everything adds up just waiting on bloods. Looked into that multivitamin you recommended as well, seems a little underwhelming compared but if that’s what I need then so be it!

I appreciate your responses! Seems like this is your wheelhouse.

You are on the right track but need to look to more specific supplementing.

Doubling up a multi vitamin isn't going to do much. I do heavy supplementing to support my heavy blasts, I see the results reflecting in my bloodwork over time in regards to the effect I am hoping to have xyz supplements have on my system.

Doubling up Magnesium is something I have seen first hand to be beneficial. I have my misses take 400-600mg a day but on blast I am downing 1200mg a day.

Ex. From past experiences, my cholesterol should be trashed right now with what I am running. Its not and the supplementation as of late is what I have invested more time and money into.

Copy/Pasting a list I posted elsewhere in response to what I take.

Berberine 500mg 3x a day (moving to 4) - Blood sugar
Digestive Enzyme (Specifically Zenwise, has some pre biotics in it) - I eat largest meals in the evening.
Betaine HCI 650mg 4-5x a day - Helps digest protein and prevent acid reflux (Generally acid reflux is caused by low levels of acid in the stomach, this increases acid in the stomach. PPIs work but they are like duct taping a gun wound, going to fix the problem in the moment but cause more harm then good the longer you rely on it)
Magnesium Glycinate 600-1200mg a day
NAC 1200mg a day - Kidneys, liver, antioxidant and so much more.
TUDCA 250-500mg a day - Liver, Kidneys, Blood sugar and again so much more.
Astragalus root - Kidney. Think we all know about this one.
GW 501516 - On cycle only, cholesterol, specifically HDL.
Horse chestnut - Had to add this recently to stop some painful veinous insufficiency (precursor to varicose veins), blood thinner.
Nattokinase - I absolutely love this supplement, made a huge difference in my blood markers for RBC/Hemocrit, thinned it out quickly and allows me to run EQ 1-1.5G area.
Tumeric - Super supplement, blood thinner, inflammation reduction. I am not usually big on liquid over pills but with this one I am, bioavailability is significantly higher as liquid.
Olive leaf oil - Blood pressure and potent antioxidant. (dropping this soon)
Celery seed extract - Blood pressure, mild diuretic. 150mg twice a day.
Carditone - Blood pressure. (dropping this soon)
Taurine 5-15 grams - There is too much to post about this, should be a staple for anyone lifting weights let alone taking AAS. Amazing supplement.
L Glutamine 20 grams - Only on Tren, no more acid reflux at all with this.
Vitamin D3 5000iu
Ubiquinol 100mg - Heart health and BP

Melatonin 3mg 5-6x a week - sleep
Doxylamine Succinate (Unisom) 2-3x a week when I am desperate or Benadryl. - Sleep

BP Meds Valsartan 320mg on blast, 160mg on cruise/trt.
BP Meds Nebivolol 10mg on heavy blast, 5mg otherwise.

Weed. Vaped herb. Sleep on tren. Appetite stimulate on lift days.

I bolded the ones I feel have the most significant impact to the point its obvious after using them for 1-2 months and reflects positively in bloodwork.

nattokinase in lieu of fish oil? and 20 g l-gluamine? I thought most pills were dosed at like 500 mg.

Hi. Do you still have blood tests to see the difference in hematocrit and hemoglobin with nattokinase? how long and what dosage did it take to see good results?

Hi sir. I hope you will answer . What dosage did you use and for how long? what was the difference in hematocrit reduction? Thanks

Since you use Magnesium Glycinate, I just switched to Threonate. Here's my take on it after a few days. Threonate is pricy, but can be combined with glycinate:

I didn't know that, but it helped with the cramps I was suffering from when I started using it, and the sleep benefits were a bonus.

Threonate feels like it's on another level in terms of the impact on the the brain though,

And seems to help hair grow back too, lol!

Mg glycinate - this way.
Improves bile flow,
→ Reduces pressure in the gallbladder,
→ Spasms go away, pain is tolerated (if any),
→ Reduces the risk of stone formation and inflammation.
normalizes gallbladder motility, especially useful for hyperkinetic dyskinesia (when the bladder contracts too strongly and abruptly).
conditions for normal synthesis of bile acids,
Improving the fluidity and composition of bile is to reduce the risk of gallstone formation.

I’ve used a bunch of different stuff over the years, and honestly, what’s helped most is finding reliable immune supplements online that don't go overboard with fillers and crazy dosages. I stick with basics like vitamin D, C, and zinc, and just make sure they're legit and third-party tested. One thing that made a big difference was switching to brands that actually show test results on their sites.
