Vitamins and micronutrient supplementation

I am going to start taking 2000mg of Vitamin C per day for its effects on tissue repair and energy. I also supplement with Glutamine for similar reasons. That being said, I hear that the acidity of Vitamin C will be counter productive to taking glutamine in the same sitting. Is this true? Same with eating...some people say take the vitamins/glutamine on an empty stomach, others say it does not matter. Also, is taking a multivitamin worthwhile if taking all of this vitamin C? I feel like I should be taking all of the other vitamins, I'm just not sure how to take all of these during the day so they don't offset one another.
 
the pH of your stomach is about 2 and I don't think that ascorbic acid(Vit. C) would lower that very much, if at all. I don't think that there would be a problem taking them at the same time, but I wouldn't take 2g of Vit. C at once, it is water soluble and your body cannot store it and there is no way your body can utilize that much at once...IMO
