Vorck ferritin protocol on cycle/blast?

Vitamin C lowers or alters hepcidin.
Says somewhere in the article.

In this protocol you’re doing everything to raise hepcidin. So that’s why. I was also confused
I did read that about hepcidin. I wonder why main stream recommendations say Vit C enhances iron absorption?

Also was running this protocol at the time of positing, to the exact hour and products. Unfortunately not much of a change for me. Nothing at all tbh.

So it can work for some and others not.
My iron didn’t budge much. And my ferritin went up 15 points give or take, could even be inflammation raising it to 30.

Next step is what ever my doctor says. And if nothing else. Some Iron infusion sponsored by chewy & baby piglet meds

You can get human grade iron sucrose from India pharma sources here but it's 20mg/ml. Significant lower chance of staining. Just throwing out another option. Ill share my experience when I inject piggy meds this weekend lol.

If you want to avoid India, there's also KR pharma human grade iron sucrose.

Reached out to pct 24x7
They said out of stock and permanent removing from list :(

Fuck mine is only 34… and i had no idea haha … time to start some stomach stuff to help digest, absorption and maybe iron
I’ve started a lot of stuff for this, even things that may or may not have an effect. Sorta weird but I feel slightly better. Just need to pull labs again in a few weeks.

Glutamine 10g - 3g L citrulline fasted in the am
Couple hours first meal I’d have my iron and vitamin C, wait at least 2 hours before more food.
Mid day, animal pak multivitamin & 1000mg taurine, copper,
Evening time before bed 10g glutamine, mag glycinate.

That's a lot of shit. I'm assuming you tried the basic anemia treatment of 65mg of ferrous sulfate 3x a day for 2-3 months and then retest.

Yup I’ve tried multiple variations.

Now I’m trying very low TRT dose, 500ng/dl test levels. See if that helps, since there’s less demand for iron with less RBC creation yada yada. And all the stuff I listed above as well.

Hope it works out. I got lucky and looks like iron pills alone are gonna fix it for me. On just 1 65mg ferrous sulfate pill I took my ferritin from a 45 to 65, iron from 20 to 40 and iron saturation from 7 to 12 in 8 weeks while running a cycle of about a gram. Mch, mchc, platelets, RBC, all moving in the right direction. Only outlier is my rdw is still going up from 20 to 23.

Numbers aren't great but all improving. My tibc is on the higher side of the normal range so my body's got plenty of capacity to store more iron. I'm now taking 2 iron pills a day and retesting in 8 weeks

Which iron pills did u use?

Just the cheap natures made 65mg ferrous sulfate. One mid day and i take with 1000mg vitamin c pill. I just started the second before bed and I didn't bother w vitamin c. You can do 3 and technically you're not supposed to take close to drinking coffee but if I was taking 3 a day I wouldn't worry about 1 dose being close to coffee

Anyone try lactoferrin to assist in raising ferritin ??

Yes, recent evidence suggests
lactoferrin may be more effective than ferrous sulfate for raising ferritin, iron, and hemoglobin levels, particularly because it causes fewer gastrointestinal side effects and has a higher iron affinity, leading to better absorption and utilization. Lactoferrin works by binding iron and promoting its absorption and storage, while ferrous sulfate is a traditional inorganic iron source that can cause significant digestive issues for many people.
Why Lactoferrin May Be Superior
  • Higher Iron Affinity: Lactoferrin binds iron with significantly higher affinity than transferrin, which is the body's main iron transporter, and maintains this binding across a broader pH range.
  • Improved Absorption & Homeostasis: It directly increases iron export from the gut and enhances its storage in ferritin, improving overall iron utilization.
  • Fewer Side Effects: Many individuals experience fewer or no gastrointestinal side effects (like nausea or constipation) with lactoferrin compared to ferrous sulfate.
  • Better Compliance: Due to reduced side effects, patients are more likely to adhere to lactoferrin supplementation.
  • Dual Action: Lactoferrin also possesses anti-inflammatory properties, which can be beneficial in managing iron deficiency.
Why Ferrous Sulfate Can Be Problematic
  • Inorganic Iron: It provides inorganic iron that can be poorly absorbed and can irritate the gastrointestinal lining.
  • Common Side Effects: Nausea, constipation, and stomach upset are common, often leading to poor patient compliance.

I used the brand IRON 365 whole foods. Anyone who lives in the US knows this. Absolutely zero side effects. Bisglycinate 18mg
Were you able to fix low iron issues with that dose. That's a pretty low dose even if bisglycinate is absorbed better, not sure if it is, I know it's easier on the stomach. Regular ol ferrous sulfate is actually very well absorbed

This is the dosage for one capsule. I used 4. I'll go and get my blood tested in 2 weeks. Maybe sooner. The thing is, I had erythrocytapheresis.
