I think it would be a great idea to make the classafieds on meso for premium members only. Maybe fee of around $25 like ASN did. It would keep a lot of the children out and would also make it much more unlikely someone would make multiple user names.

it wouldnt help security wise, it would help raise some money for meso but feds have money too and can pay for a membership just as easily as anyone else

it also gives away personal info about yourself you might not want linked to the board if you have to pay online, I guess you could send in a money order but who really wants to wait a week to be able to access the classifieds?
