Vyvanse FDA approved for "Binge Eating Disorder"

I wanted to put this here because it seems like such a dubious example of the FDA approval process:

I wonder who has seen this. It seems like a hilarious extension of a powerful amphetamine to a disorder that is principally psychological.

Sure there are issues of how neurobiological this sort of disorder in fact is. But anyone who has taken adderall/vyvanse or any of the Schedule II psychostimulants would be skeptical of treating just the behavioral aspects that results from suppressing hunger with a drug that does MUCH more, both good and bad.

If "Binge Eating Disorder" is defined in part by deprivation/binge cycles, an appetite suppressant cannot be an effective method of treatment.
