Sup meso! Another thread by me with my curiosity lol. I want to get on trt but I don’t think I’ll qualify. My pre bloods were at 500. What should I do? I’m on my first cycle right now I’m 24. Am I too young for trt? Should I just cycle on and off instead? I know I’m pretty young but my choice is that I’m gonna end up doing at least a few more cycles weather I’m on trt or not.

It's very easy to drop your test level fast. Hint: starts with "or" ends with "al".

Have you thought about if you want to have children one day? Sure, people have came off TRT and got their sperm production back up. You’re 24 and thinking about shutting your nuts off?

Personally, I started TRT after had all the children I wanted.

Just think about the consequences.

Your test level isn’t super low either. You can get clinic that focuses on prescribing TRT (like a wellness clinic) to put on TRT, but a urologist or endocrinologist is likely not going to write you a script for testosterone at your levels.

Do you have money/credit card? Got money you can get a "clinic" to T you up with natural endogenous TT of 800 ng/dl. "FT of 20 ng/dl? No worries Brother, here's the Test."

Can you? Sure.

Should you? Those are the great questions you are asking.

Parroting what @readalot said.

Can you? Yes. Should you? This is, indeed, a question.
I am waiting for the post with the Tanner stage 4 kid who gets "TRT" with natural TT level of 1200 ng/dl/SHBG midrange.

"This youngster just was not optimal so we have to get him up to FT of 50 ng/dl so he can feel like ....well, like a person with a FT level of 50 ng/dl."

Who’s to say he’s straight…also adopting is an option… also some people just know they dont want kids one day.

So on a side tangent….

If you just go get bloods 10 days post pinning they will be low.

They wont because of his age… i had level at 172 and at 23 they wouldnt do it… i tried 3 places…which is why i took matters in own hands….it absurd

I am now 31, and i am so happy i made that decision…

172 is low. He is at 500 which many doctors would consider is in the normal range. I don’t blame you at all for getting yourself taken care of at 172.

Yes he might not be straight or could adopt. I made some assumptions. Point taken.

It just seems a little wild to me that he needs TRT at 24 years age young, with his test levels.

I had a vasectomy when I got on so I understand I am probably a bit more conservative than most.

Edit: and again, I don’t think any doctor is going to prescribe you testosterone OP. You will have to go to a clinic or administer this yourself. Your test levels are too high and you are too young for most doctors to even consider you a candidate for TRT.

In all fairness, we were all young and dumb once. Hell, I fucked around (once) with prohormones when I was 22. That being said, the idea of getting on "TRT" at 24 just blows my mind. I absolutely loathe these docs/clinics that diagnose almost anyone willing to throw money at them with *low T* and their treatment plan is "whatever helps them feel *optimal*".

Wouldn’t something like hcg and hmg work? If I was to get on trt I’d run hcg along side it aswell but use hmg when trying to have kids

I went on early, similar to you. Now there's no turning back realistically. Unless for kids or health. It would take me a good year to maybe get back to something like 600's Testosterone. So my only advice is think, think and think again, 5 years down the line you're gonna be in my shoes. Years fly by fast.

So would it just be a better idea for me to just cycle on and off mabey doing 2 cycles a year? Mabey trt when I’m older and have stopped having kids lol

Of course, I would say now it's overall better. But it's down to you, how are you going to handle coming off, pct, some time (~3 months post cycle) feeling like shit and then will you be satisfied with being natural again? Questions are to you and it's your decision ultimately. Unfortunately, you will never know unless you try.

Steroids are addicting - psychologically. Anyone who says otherwise is probably in denial or had bad experience with them and never wants to touch it again.

This always comes down to you, the individual. I know that's a lazy answer but it's the truth. Do you foresee yourself having children? Are you okay with extensive protocols to restore yourself to natural levels? Do you want to attain an "unnatural" physique and retain (most of) it? Are you okay with the potential negative physical and mental health consequences if coming off? Can you sit here and realistically see yourself being on TRT for the rest of your life in a worst case scenario? These are just a few questions to ask yourself and not even close to all of them. Injecting yourself with exogenous hormones in any capacity, outside the realm of needing them for a medical diagnosis, is never going to be healthy. Sure, there are things you can do to mitigate unwanted issues or side effects, but even then they aren't always full proof. To circle back around to my initial statement, only you can answer these questions for yourself; the only answers we can give you is "yes" or "no".

Well bro plenty of people have developed amazing physiques cycling, it does help mitigate some of the sides. Fertility being a major one, aside from the huge hormonal fluctuations of coming off that is a solid option. Coming off sucks tho more so depending on the demands of your day job.

Getting on trt and doing cycles can be done, I won’t say safely but it can be done methodically. Starting out the gate with hcg concurrently for life for your fertility is a decent idea, and long term lipid management and bp control/LVH mitigation are all ways to do it smart.

It’s a big decision, take your time finish your current plan of this cycle and pct so you can see if cycling is something you wanna go through vs the trt potential.

Honestly I don’t mind mind pinning everyday for life. I have been doing it ever since I was 4 and a half but for another medical problem. My parents use to do it and ever since I was 13 I have been doing it myself. So I really don’t mind Ed pinning for long periods. I been pinning my test for this cycle Ed. I guess I do not know yet the feeling of coming off cycle to a natty starts again. Mabey I will have to find out how I feel. But I know for sure that I’m going to hate see myself shrink even knowing that I will end up cycling again. And yes I do want an amazing physique that will last a life time. I would rather hop on trt but not unless it’s under doctors supervision. And I do want to have kids in the future. I guess that’s the main thing I’m worried about but I have read that hcg and hmg can keep fertility but I’m not sure. Just trying to see what could be better for me
