Who's been to Bangkok? I'm going there for vacation from 5/24 thru 5/31. I remember some people here saying they've been but it's been a long time and I don't remember where they said the good areas are.

I have heard cool things about Thailand but I don't think I could stand going there, I hate flying and I think the flight is almost 20 hours from where I live!

Those things never have the cool spots, they only have the cheesy touristy places. I've already gotten some advice from a couple people, but there was a thread here a while back that was talking about a specific area where most of the bodybuilders hang out. The hotels in this area are supposedly nice but cheap and there's plenty of party spots.

Oh well, I'll figure it out. I'll probably have some nice pics to post when I get back too.

Ironjay, We're leaving at 9AM on the 24th and get to Bangkok at 11PM on the 25th. It's gonna be a bitch of a trip, no doubt. We have like a 6 hour layover in Osaka but that's kind of a good thing because we'll get a chance to briefly check out Japan and get some good sushi.

If you get a chance take a trip down to hatjai, everything is the same as in Bangkok, but at a fraction of the price, you can get a REALLY hot girl for the day for about $15, its up to you how far you go with her, particularly if you have wife/girlfriend in tow, but she will haggle for you on anything you want to buy, and get some really low prices at least 70% off the marked price, I got a real brand new sony camera for 80% lower than the price it would have cost me in the uk. If you haven't got a woman with you, I'll just leave it to your imagination what else is "included". Oh yes she can also take you to the roid shops!!!!!
