Fuck...man an there are no words for how terrible that is. I'm glad that they're using the term because in the US it seems like Domestic Terrorism really hasn't been accepted as a term to use. The left wing uses it, since basically all the domestic terrorism recently has been from right wingers--anti-LGBTs or racists or hardcore trump supporters that would like to see trump made into the dictator of the US. So the right wing news outlets and politicians deny that domestic terrorism is even a thing.

the unlawful use of violence and intimidation, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political aims.
A racist or homophobe piece of shit usually does not fall into this category. We can't change language to suit our political needs! This is just "Newspeak" (1984) . It starts with with being flippant in our terms of reference and it's consequences are dire.
I don't see how we could legally apply " terrorism " charges in this case in specific. You could certainly argue them for those retarded neck beards at the Capitol...... But the can of worms that would open up is nasty.
BLM , Antifa, the KKK etc. All could be labeled terrorist organizations. As they have all been involved in acts of violence for a political goal. Does a angry black man deserve life in prison without trial, access to a lawyer, indefinite detention ?
I urge cation in this sentiment. It has dire consequences in terms of selective prosecution!!! Depending who is in power at the time.

500 alone were criminally charged, many more entered the Capitol and about ten thousand showed up to a rally where the President encouraged the Vice President to not certify the election results.
I don’t support the looting that went on but Joe Biden didn’t encourage anyone to loot and explicitly condemned it multiple times. “Both sides are equally bad” isn’t the hot take you think it is.

Yes, we seen a group of people trespassing in the capital building and it was called an "insurrection".
We also seen groups of people burn down courthouses, police stations and government buildings all over America and it was called "mostly peaceful protest".
The only real difference, aside from ideology, is that one group rioted on behalf of the democrat party, and the other rioted against the democrat party.
I don't know enough to comment about who owns and runs antifa and BLM. But it's quite obvious that both of those groups clearly qualify as 'domestic terrorist' organizations. Every bit as much so as the KKK. Ironically, all of those groups have, or have had financial and political backing of the democrat party at some point in the present or past.
You can talk shit all you want about that guy. But what he said was true.
