Water Retention in face on cruise

look into hydrochlorothiazide, indapamide, amildoride, and elperenone. hydro is what a lot of people use but it doesn’t spare potassium, taken twice a week. you need to take magnesium and potassium supplements when using from what i’ve read. i don’t know shit either at the same time we’re in the same boat but these i listed i’ve seen alot of good feedback on especially elperenone, which blocks aldosterone, from testosterone and estrogen fluctuations causing sodium retention. like i said thought look into these because we are both in the same boat so i cant really recommend but thats what i went with
I’ve used low dose HCTZ but didn’t notice an improvement. Also everything I’ve learnt has said that long term chronic use of diuretics is a bad idea for your health especially your kidney health so I don’t think diuretics are a long term solution. ARBs useless for me so maybe ACE will do the trick. I will get some eplerenone and give it a try. I’ll also come back here and update if I figure something out.

Adding masteron to all my blasts has completely eliminated any issue with puffy face or unwanted water retention. But I also don't have to worry about my hair line.

Hey I am currently cruising on Test P 140mg a week and have that damn facial edema. It’s not bad but it’s still there and ruins the face even though I’m lean. I’ve done EVERYTHING…e2 in lower end of range, no carbs, water, potassium low sodium, switched to the prop ester….I have learnt now that no matter how well I address these causes I can’t have my face looking like it does off Test. I am on Telmisartan 40mg per day. The last thing I can think of to try before packing it in for now is switching from ARB to ACE.. eplerenone as you mention. Do you have any experience or any reason to think that switching to an ACE will be superior to an ARB for eliminating facial bloat? As far as I can see the ARB does nothing for bloat for me but it was effective at managing BP. Or could I add the ACE to the ARB?

Thank you for your help
For me ARB lower aldosterone more rather than ACE. I don't see any reason why ACE would be better.
Sorry to hijack the thread, but I recently got my hands on some Triamterene/HCTZ (Dyazide) and was surprised at how little solid info is out there on it—especially in a bodybuilding context.

Anyone here ever use it as part of a drying out or peak week protocol?

What are your thoughts on this diuretic—pros, cons, how it compares to others like Aldactone or Lasix?

Appreciate any insight.
Triamterene is similar to amiloride, it is a potassium sparing diuretics, you can refere to the messages I posted up there.

I’ve never heard that. Are you saying that HPTA shutdown is causing an imbalance (low progesterone) that could be making me puffy faced? Interesting! I know absolutely nothing about progesterone if you could expand on this I would be grateful. I’ve loads of HCG here but don’t use it because of the E2 management problems it causes me. Never tried very hard to dial in with it though
I recommend you do some research on progesterones effects on estrogen receptors. There's a thing called estrogen dominance which is thought to be caused by low progesterone. If i don't use small amounts of HCG with my TRT, i'm angry all the time and bloated too. I have even tried progesterone cream and it works similarly to HCG. You can use anastrozole just enough to lower the E2 to lower levels but it just isn't the same as having physiological levels of progesterone to control estrogen metabolism. There really is a huge difference. 50-75IU HCG daily is more than enough.

You can ask about progesterone from Chatgpt.

i would just lower the test if you have this bothersome water retention thats not solved by diet, body fat or estrogen. its just not agreeing with you then

I ordered eplerenone from India, and I get amiloride only tabs from my pharmacy in France.
Are your estradiol in check?
yo can you slide me your source of amiloride or where you get it, im in france aswell, greatly appreciate it
