Way to recover Bitcoin send to a Bitcoin Cash Wallet? (receiver end)

So I sent (stupidly) a good chunk of bitcoin to a bitcoin cash wallet.

Ledger nano s (my wallet) says it is recoverable by the Bitcoin Cash Wallet owner by using private keys.

Anyone know this to be true. They have the same addresses values.

If you have sent btc to a bth wallet it is gone forever. I can vouch for that 100% by doing the same thing.

Since it’s a fork of BTC the wallet addys are compatible
