Weight cut for meet

So I have a meet next weekend and I'm competing at 220, but I'm sitting at like 230-235 still... I can do a water cut of 8-10, any help on cutting the last few without wrecking my strength? I should be hitting some big numbers and I don't want it to go down the drain.
 
I've done a few now but never this much of a cut. Before it's been like 2-5 pounds if that. I gained too much weight before this meet and was around 240-245 and dropped to mid 235 and weigh that in the morning. Before I would weigh maybe 223 or so and just not eat the night before and be fine. My numbers are pretty big and I wanted to have a higher wilks so the drop to 220 seemed better.
 
If your meet has a 24 hour weigh in cutting from 230 this weekend and making weight by next Friday morning wouldn't be an issue with water manipulation.

This Saturday begin drinking at least 2 gallons of water per day. Eat clean but you don't have to go into a deficit. No sugary drinks including fruit juices starting Saturday. Continue to drink 2 gallons of water per day through next Wednesday. Next Thursday drink 1 gallon of water in the morning. Cut off all liquids at noon. Your last meal before weigh in will be either Thursday at lunch or if you are at 225 or less by Thursday afternoon you could eat dinner as well but no liquids.

This will allow you to make weight Friday morning. Immediately after weighing in drink at least a quart of water, then you can have Gatorade or Pedialyte to get back some electrolytes. Then have a big breakfast.

Eat and drink often throughout the day Friday. Get at least 2 gallons of liquid in you during the day. You should hit the platform between 230 and 235 doing this.
 
I used a plan very much like what MP is suggesting two weeks ago and lost 10pds with water cut, it was very easy. I also used magnisium citrate to empty out my bowels two days before :)

Not sure if you can get 15 pds without some more serious water lose tricks

The only other thing I forgot to mention is if 4 hours prior to weight in you ar more than a half pound over you can take a lasix tablet or even an OTC water pill. This will get you to where you need to be as long as you within 2 pounds 4 hours out. I prefer it over this method over using a sauna as the sauna tends to train me energy wise.
