This is how I do it. Take UGL vial, put a vial spike (ICU Medical B9909 from Amazon.ca) on it, pull everything into any size mL luer lock syringe (I use BD, 3 mL).

You don't need a vial spike, you can just pull the liquid out using a needle like normal, but a vial spike makes it take seconds rather than minutes and is easier.

Take 0.22 Kstek 25 mm PTFE syringe filter (AliExpress), attach any needle to it (I chose a BD 21G needle, the green one).

Attach syringe filter to syringe containing oil. Now take that syringe + filter + needle and stick it into the vial, but don't do anything.

Then insert any needle (I chose a BD 25G needle, the blue one) to be used as a "vent needle". Once the vent needle is in, you can push through the filter.

If I take a break I remove the vent needle and replace it after.

I don't think the gauges of the needles matters. Lower gauge = more liquid/air can move through, and I found a 21G to be faster than a 25G, but both are totally usable. You're mostly going to be limited by the filter rather than the needle used...

P.S. people are recommending to use a 10 mL (10 cc) syringe because it allows you to use a caulking gun, which I have done before, but in this case I just needed to filter 1 10 mL vial so I didn't care. But if you're doing >2 vials honestly the caulking gun setup saves so much time. I have posts of my setup with a caulking gun except I think I'm using a big ass 50 mL syringe.

It might be different if there wasn't people asking the same questions over and over when in reality 5 minutes tops of trying would get you the answer. It's tiring when day in and day out we log in to read our favorite threads and there's usually more than one person a day asking for contact info or price list. Also usually that same question has been answered on the same page or 1 or 2 previous pages. It's just annoying dude and having to ask signifies laziness and it means you or whoever else is asking hasn't done nearly enough to see if that particular source is even worth fucking with. There's a method to the way we handle these posts it's not just trying to be an asshole but sometimes that can be fun nonetheless. Hope you found what you were looking for.

I read every single thread. Sometimes for vendors I don't even purchase from. Before buying from QSC I read thousands of pages of that thread.

So you come to vendor threads to learn about compounds. I rely on a user experiences and cycle logs primarily. For the vendors, I let the jano tests do the talking. I also did read the last number of pages to assess the vendor's reliability. That is my process, you dont have to like it.

Regarding spoonfeeding, I have stated probably a dozen times now that I didn't realize a username could be used for telegram, I thought I needed a phone number which is obviously not present. It's an innocent mistake born out of being new to telegram. The theatrics are completely unnecessary.

Anybody could have been kind enough to engage and help me through that. Instead I've got pages of assumptions and personal attacks.

Like I have stated numerous times I have it all figured out at this point. You can save the patronizing for people asking obviously harmful questions looking for information that actually matters. Yeah I typically agree, I don't blast anyone for asking legitimate questions. I ignore spoon feed request, just don't reply or acknowledge now.

I refer to admin punishing knowledgeable members who are tired of the arrogant newbies. This is 100%, a business decision and why many (great members) vacated Meso for other forum. The teenagers and LooksMaxxers, along with just stupid new members, all pay to play now. It's like they're protected. I've had a few engagements where they were terribly rude, and I continuously engaged out of spite to have a good laugh. It's easy to see who was at fault, but I get the reprimand. That's trash management from the top.
