Went back to work full time and it’s killing me!

I have been self employed for many years. I don’t work much as I don’t need to so I have lots of down time. I work maybe two days every two weeks. That works out great for my training, but not so good for weight loss. So I decided to take a temp full time position to help out a friend in need. He runs a yacht repair and service company. They are just swamped all the time. It’s been a joke for three years. They hire someone and they don’t work out. They want to hire me but I don’t want to work...... It’s really hard to find a yacht mechanic who can do everything from glass to wood to mechanical and electrical and aford to pay them.

I don’t need the money nor the work but it’s helping me loose weight and gives me something to do all day. The downfall is it’s killimg my energy level for lifting.

Any advice other than lots of coffee :)

You'll get used to it pretty quickly. Just a day of walking when I leave my office really takes it out of me these days. If I did it for a week or two I would be g2g.

@Oldman.

Stick it out, I work 10 to 12 hours a day. I own a business, construction. Sometimes 7 days a week!

Everyone would think I have it easy but it's a lot of work.

Just donyou best to get to the gym, you may be tired and not as able to kill it for a week or so but you will get used to it.

It will work out, congrats on the job

Watch motivational speakers on YouTube once you leave work.
I bet that will stir up a fire in you!

I would recommend Kai Greene motivational speaches as well.

Train first thing in the am then slack off at work. But since your trying to help a friend that might not be the best advice:oops:

Kai Greene trys using big words too much to sound intelligent and trys to sound all philosophical lol. No disrespect to him though he's a legend in the sport.
He sounds mothafuckin' splendiferous!

I still love Kai Greene LOL
#thoughts become things

Honestly though as @Blitz Comet
Has said, he is a legend to the sport.
But I genuinely think he is a even better man than he is a bodybuilder. His character is remarkable, and his story is even more legendary than what he did.

Kai green to me is a very wise person to take guidance from.

I feel your pain. I’ve been off work for two months. Today is my first night back 12-8am. Not looking forward to it and the new schedule. Sleep schedule is gonna be completely screwed for a week or so until I get adjusted back to night shift let alone being back to work. Can’t fogure out myself to train after work at like 9am or hit it a few hours before work. It’s a struggle haha then getting a new eating routine as well. F**k!! Hahah. Regardless gotta find a way to grind it out. Try to not drink too much caffeine during the day so when I need a boost it’ll do the job at night. Invest in a decent pre workout maybe. Some trial and error in my near future brother.
