Is the meathead world finally starting to get some attention? That’s on Netflix. New strongman show with a Eddie/Obbie/Nick Best/Shaw. Last years NPC Nationals was up for PPV last night.
Meat head world has been getting attention for a while. Pumping Iron series there's all sorts of body building documentaries out there, the olympia is pretty main stream. Is the meathead world finally starting to get some attention? That’s on Netflix. I don’t agree. There’s zero reason the O shouldn’t ATLEAST have a reliable online stream if not be televised. Same for World’s Strongest Man; it being aired months afterwards is insane.Meat head world has been getting attention for a while. To me Powerlifting has always been the bastard child. Very little recognition and nobody really goes to the meets and the competitors dont make shit even at the highest levl. Crossfit brought back some resurgence in powerlifting which I find odd because it seems to mostly use OLY lifts and variants.
Strong man had a large following in the 90 and fell of for a while, seems to be making a comeback these days though. THe strongman show on History channel is pretty cool.
You have a point. I just think compared to the 90's when eveybody looked at the Olympia as a bunch of freak shows. A lot of people go to watch and the Olymipa now as compared to back then. To me its crazy how main stream crossfit is but bodybuilding and powerlifting are still notI don’t agree. CrossFit is much more mainstream in that anyone can bop into a CrossFit class at any time. And the athletes look “normal.”You have a point.
