What are you working towards?

What is your "motivation" in life?
When i was age 18-20/21, i havent really had a perspective or goal in life, all i wanted was to concentrate on lifting. Then i met a few girls/girlfriends who kinda dragged me down, rhe mind went from lifting to doing whatever the girl wants. So now, around 1 year ago i realized i cant do that shit anymore, i worked towards a new job education because my previous job sucked and i knew its that lind of job that doesnt allow you to evolve really and makes you stuck where you are, moneywise.
I finished the new job education, got a good relaxing job in that field and its very promising that i earn a lot of money the next few years as i learn and earn raises.
I have no drivers license, i always wanted to get tattooed (sounds stupid i know but its been a wish for years), so obviously those 2 are the goals ive set myself until 2019.
Whats after this, goal wise, i dont know already but i know i want to keep on working towards something. Of course training is a big aspect of my life atm still, training and working are the two biggest parts of my life right now, both going really good atm.
One thing i want since years was to get a dog. I just love dogs and its those 3 things i want to get now, being mobile, havingbsomething under my skin that means alot to me and having a furry best friend i can take care of.

So maybe i can find something new to work towards after i finished those 3 goals, what are you working towards at?

Escape the 9-5 rat race

I just got myself in there with that new job lol.
Before i worked as a chef for 5 or 6 years.
Shitty days off work, almost every weekend working, working until late at night and shit, and then somehow still get a workout in.
Now i feel like in heaven working a desk job on regular times monday-friday. I dunno what department youre working at, now im more of an it guy and the pay is not too bad here.
I kind of think of getting a own flat/house but it seems way different here than in the us. I keep reading people buy around 2 to 3 houses until theyre 50 and then live off those.
Here if youre going to buy a house, you can basically pay it off the next 30 years until its fully paid.
But i hope someday that i can leave the country. Especially as an it guy its way easier to start a job overseas, so one long term goal i would add would be to change countries. 9-5 job is even less annoying then when u live in a country where you feel like youre on holidays every day you wake up

Do you mind if I ask what country you're from? When you talk about buying mutiple houses, do you mean real estate or vacation houses?

Well lets say im from europe
Well in my case i talk about real estate. Where i could live in or have other people pay me rent to live in all year long

Real estate, owning businesses, and the stock markets are all good ways to escape the 9-5 rat race if you know what you're doing

Building a business and trying to lower my weight down 15 lbs to 210 and try to stay lighter ,healthier, lean

Pretty much the same goals as you guys, minus the IBS o_O. I hate my job to the point that it makes me *almost* homicidal toward management. I've gotten very good at something that means nothing to me. I've been really trying to move toward real estate, most likely flipping houses. I have a friend whose dad used to build homes and now he is flipping them, making about as much per flip as he did building them. We've passively talked about going in on one together a couple of times and I'm currently trying to save money for a truck to haul shit around in and I'm about to start looking into getting my real estate license. I just know that I can't keep going the route I'm on because hating your job really brings down your quality of life no matter how much pussy you're getting or how happy you are with your physique or whatever fitness goals you have, having to spend the majority of your days with people that you loathe just has a way of making it hard to see all of the good things you might have going.

To anyone in my situation I really wish you the best. I hope that we all find a way to spend our time that has meaning to us.
