Love it or hate it, cardio exercises are vital. What do you do to burn calories and keep your heart rate up?

Hey Scout!

I've never been really great at running or jogging for period of time. I will, though, usually hit the treadmill at around a 10-12% grade hill around 4-5MPH

Keeps my heart rate around 160-170

I agree, I REALLY don't like running or jogging!

Some guys love running, but I am not one of them.

I normally force myself to do HIIT. It works well for busting away fat as needed and gets the heart rate up nicely. If I am really not feeling sprinting at all I do incline treadmill jogging.

I do HIIT on the elliptical -- 60/90s. Trying to get to 60/60. I regularly hit 165-170 HR which is pretty demanding at 46 years old. But, it really helps with fat loss.

Well for burning fat I like to try and keep my HR around 135. (zone 1)

A couple of months ago I got one of those heart monitor watches. It has been great. I can adjust my weight lifting and pretty much do my cardio with weights if i want. It keeps track of all calories burned and what percentage came from fat. I love it.
