What did you inject today?

These 1ml ones are disgustingly overpriced. In my country they go 38 euro for 100 pieces while the 3ml cost 26 for 200 pieces. I'm using the 3ml and for 1ml regular bd slin syringes. Fixed or luer slip.

yea almost 40€ for box also. but whatever...

22€ for 3ml box, i took them also but i dont need to inject more than 1ml at one time yet.

I swear by Nipro needles , 25 g is a breeze , i like easy touch barrels for a 1ml syringe, as well as 3ml Excel barrels when i do higher volume injections (Never) that setup is smooth for me,

what is considered higher volume for you?
i pin 1ml 3x per week. never more.

damn i havent seen any of those brands in EU.

30Gx1/2" for delts
27Gx3/4" for quads
from now on 25Gx1" for glutes. before i pinned glutes with 23Gx1 1/4" but thats too big of a harpoon...

You can cover all spots with BD insulin syringes. I’m buying a pack of 120 insulin syringes, 1ml with 25G 5/8 needles BUT since they’re not fixed you can attach any needle you prefer. It’s not luer lock though. Those BD cost 14 euro, 120 syringes with the needles included. It’s a bargain.. basically anything you can use to avoid that ridiculous price for 1ML luer locks.

Looks like luer slip.
Hows the pressure vs slin?
Product wastage?

Yes it’s luer slip. Pressure is the same, actually pressure has to do with the barrel mostly and not the needles. Now wastage, compared with the fixed slins which have zero, it has some but still very very little. Like way less than 3ml barrels.

A tip i learned for luer slips to get really tight is to screw them sideways as you slip it in. Don’t simply push it. That way is very very hard to pull apart while you pin (it has never happened to me).

i know mate but... this thing became kind of hobby and i dont need to go for lowest price. i switched to nice product, i wanted them from start but decided to use braun 1ml greens.

injector changed that and i had to choose which one to use and went for these luer locks. its super nice to work with, i like to use more fancy products in these niche things. i have about 10 packs of needles, swabs etc.

try these, 20€/100ks or somewhere around that they are wasteless. i started using them for peptide pins with that yellow 30Gx1/2"
and its much better than with BD slin pins.

Man, we spend a fortune on that shit we do for a hobby, obviously no one will save serious money by choosing 20 euro cheaper syringes. But, do they worth it? No, and that’s the point. BD the ones, BD the others. Same quality. Luer lock doesn’t do anything on 1ml barrel. There’s no way luer slip rips off, the pressure is negligible. But anyway, if you like it by all means.. I’m not judging, it’s just my opinion.

yea i get your point. compared to other expenses for that 3-4 months its not big difference.

weird thing is that 1ml LL are almost double the price of 3ml LL, any idea why?

I used to hate injecting even doing it 3x a week felt like a nightmare. This prep, I'm up to 6 injections a week due to the volume from short esters.

At first, I was shaking, sweating, and absolutely dreading every pin. But eventually, I just became numb to it.

What really helped was finding a method that worked for me: now I "lean" into the jab and insert the needle in one smooth, steady motion. Not too fast, not too slow just like a piston. Made a big difference for me.

I stick to 6 main injection sites: both shoulders, glutes, and quads. I save my lats for anything I do with slin pins like peptides, L-carnitine, and maybe small oil volumes down the line.

In my case it’s not double. 100 pieces 1ml is 38 euro and 200 pieces of 3ml is 26. So it’s triple the price and to answer your question I honestly have no clue.

Terumo are awesome as well, the Thin Wall versions.

I do everyday pins, this way it does not matter if it's IM or subq, whereever it goes it's OK, and I use insulin syringes with fixed needle for everything, 27G 0.5" for oils, 30G 0.5" for peptides (these are always subq). Once you get used t it it's not a pain, I do delts on upper days, quads on lower days, glutes on rest days.
