OK, I should have clarified. From what I understand, if we are talking liver, in the animal model it does not regenerate when androgen levels are at a supraphysiological level, something to do with stem cells. It's not only orals, even high test will do it (not cause damage, but keep the liver from regenerating), but again, no idea if that also applies to humans, uncertain at this point or I could not find any evidence of that.
ALT/AST are also present in muscle, not only in liver, so if you are in prep or after prep, those could also indicate you were burning through some muscle mass and/or sever muscle fatigue.
But to answer your question honestly, I do not know. You can check blood levels after 4 weeks and evaluate from there. I doubt anyone can say for sure at this moment.
