with my surgeries i had the same exact experience. you just atrophy so quickly it hurts to see. all of the small daily movements stop, and you atrophy due to a complete lack of mechanical stimuli. the actual tissue loss starts after around 3 weeks of complete lack of movement tho. until then, you are good.That's good news for me because after this shoulder surgery, my whole body seemed to have shrink. I'm super flat and my surgical shoulder has atrophied so much.
The flatness is the most depressing part tho. makes ya feel like a sack of potatos
