What do you think is the best Protein

if your talking drink.
I mix Labrada choc PB(50g) with Muscle milk choc(38g) it taste great and gives me the ratios I need rather than one on its own.
off coarse I eat alot of eggwhites, beef, chicken, etc too..............11

This reason i wanted to put the question out there is because most beginners like myself are told to eat an out control amount of protien but wouldn't think to mix combine shakes. I've never tried it that way. Most the time I use ispoure(50g) or myoplex(42g) but not both. I didn't think about combining.

I am a newbie and haven't heard of any of the stuff but to add to the post Amazon.com is a great site for discount protein. Its atleast half off.
 
to me whey protein is whey protein is whey protein and it is great for its fast absorption prior and post workout but I highly recommend food protein for the majority of your consumption ie.. chicken breast, tuna, natural PB, egg whites and such. My favorite breakfast shake is 1 can tuna 2 cups OJ a banana half a scoop vanilla whey protein and a tbsp of all natural PB blend it up and blam 70 grams of protein I Can swallow in 20 seconds and the majority of it from natural sources.

BTW, I cant even remotely begin to eat an egg white. Ill hurl within seconds. Hate the texture, hate everything about them. Im either going to eat whole eggs or no eggs at all. And Egg Beaters make me want to puke.

All in all, people put WAAAAY to much thought into the best protein for pre-breakfast, post-breakfast, morning snack, pre-workout, post-workout, pre-dump, post-dump, blah blah blah. The more protein you eat the less than the quality of protein matters, and most guys eat enough protein that the difference between a whey isolate and whey concentrate are meaningless.
 
Big, juicy slabs of steak. I think it both tastes and works best as you asked in your original post:)

Drinks are to supplement a diet...you know nothing beats real food for a whole host of reasons.
 
I've tried several protein products but i always end up with reflex. Their "Instant Whey" works wonders for me. Don't get a protein with carbohydrates because it's most likely that it will turn you into a fat piece of shit. At least that happened to me (ectomorph), The only thing that got bigger was my stomach and my love handles. Take a whey protein and follow a balanced diet.

Whey is best for post workout, but anything with casein protein is great for your last meal before bed because it has slow absorption. Low fat cottage cheese is an excellent source of casein protein. I get the no-salt added version by Friendship.

But if I had to stick with one protein I'd have to stick with chicken. The only reason why is because whey tend to bloat me a little bit. Maybe it's the salt added to the shakes. When I competed in me show I stuck with all real foods for the last three weeks.

If I had to choose a second it would be tuna.
 
Champion Nutrition Pure Whey Chocolate with milk. I also like Ergopharm's GF PRO Cherry Blast with water, but you have to mix it really well or it has chunks.

Muscle Milk, because the protein is 1/2 whey 1/2 casein, and with 15% carbs. I think its an all around good mixture.
