Given how inept they were at migrating forum software, I doubt they have much capability to defend themselves against a DDoS or anything of that nature. Likely, all they did was submit a ticket to the hosting provider with the information "site don't work."

That was my thinking. You would assume sources have a closer relationship to the moderators than we do but apparently not this one. At any rate he did say he would continue sourcing with or without them, but the board helps me feel more at ease when you can constantly check the status of everything.
