20-40, I think. But this is based on anecdotal evidence and worshiping of high-normal T and low-normal E2.
But you have to know in the 1st place you have estradiol problem. This refers to my question how to figure out whether estradiol is a problem or not. What one should basically do?
Formally, medical ranges are set in the following way: 95% of healthy people fall into the range, means also the rest 5% of healthy people are fine with values outside of range. Pls, correct me if I`m wrong.
So, formally you have healthy estradiol.
Different people have different opinions on this. Some say 10 to 15. Others say 20 to 30 and just about anything else. Some say it doesn't matter I think that the 20 to 40 recommendation is a good one, with 25 to 35 being ideal. That seems to work for me, but I find that having a free T of over 100 is equally important. If my free T is over 100 and my E2 is 25 to 35 then I feel good and ED is gone.
One problem is that there are different tests for E2 and some have greatly varying ranges. For those that go up into the 50s, then the 20 to 40 or the 25 to 35 is a good place to be.
Hello thanks for your response.
Taking the average of 20 to 40, is 30. Taking the average of 25 to 35 is 30.
So it seems like 30pg/ml is a good number to be at, and at 53pg/ml my estradiol is too high.

What units are you quoting for free T? ng/dl? T and Bioavailable T is usually in ng/dl in the U.S. 100ng/dl of free T would be 12%+ of Total T
I think that somewhere between 25 and 30 is perfect for a test with the top range value being about 55. I am on TRT and my E2 varies with how high my total T level is. I have been low (<20), high (57 and 83) and in the middle (25 and 34). When I was 25, my free T was low and I didn't feel too good. When I was 34, my free T was 101 and I felt good. When I was at 57 and 83, my free T was much higher, but I didn't feel as good as I did when my free T was 101 and my E2 was 34. This is just my limited experience over a 2 year period.
Hello, did you find libido problems when it was 57? How would you describe the feeling when you had high estradiol?
The only way that I have found to describe differences in my libido is this. When my libido is good I have a basic desire to screw my wife and any attractive woman I see while out shopping. When my libido is not good I still have a desire to screw my wife, but not because of some primal sexual desire. It is more like I want to because I know we both enjoy sex. In other words, the desire is from the brain in my top head instead of the brain in my lower head. When my E2 is high, the desire is from my top brain.

What was your free T and E2 before you started trt?
I am not on trt, but my estradiol number is high.
52.86pg/ml ref range (3-53pg/ml) ; it's almost over the range
Could this be why I have no libido? What is a healthy estradiol number for men?
Thanks,
