I have given up on this shit. People are sheep and deserve everything they will now be served, or rather be subjected too. Too bad I am not that stupid, but will have to live with the consequences of their actions as well.

if this proposal itself goes through eu every eu country will enforce it for everyone to use. mass surveillance excused as "catching criminals".

This is what don't understand about the present order.
The means of production in the United States is FAR more centrally planned than anything even imagined in the USSR.
For every industry of significance that provides the things we need, there are just a few companies that provide the bulk of the products (including food). And even they are owned by the gigantic "investors" like Black Rock.
I sympathize with people who hate tranny loving leftists who spend their lives obsessing over sodomy and various misfits.
But something dark is on the horizon.
For those who are adamant about privacy and security, there are three paths that are accessible:
1) Use Monero for all transactions
2) Use Qubes OS as your primary OS when doing anything remotely questionable, including political shit.
3) Use GrapheneOS on your mobile phone
4) Learn opsec in the context of 1-3
These may all seem like extreme precautions at present, but the pace of change in the political order and surveillance state is extreme to put it mildly.
Monero is not hard to learn.
Qubces OS certified machines can be purchased for $2,000 or less.
GrapheneOS works great on a $500 Pixeal 9a
Now is the time to master what we can while there is still time.

and whipping one of those out is sure to get u arrested haha.
i think the police in spain just arrests anyone who pulls those phones up already. no justification needed. atleast from what i've heard

i dont have time to check out all stuff they're recommending.
theres way more focus and tools you can put on privacy but if talking strictly tools and services make sure they're open source.
I have heard this, but at the end of the day the device can't be cracked. We're all risking arrest here.
My point is just that near rock solid privacy and security that would deter even state actors isn't really that expensive compared to lots of the drugs we buy.
For example, I ordered about $1,800 worth of HGH recently.
For the same price, you can get a 100% secure laptop with Qubes OS installed

It's a significant investment, I know. But to me, an initial investment of $3,000 for secure hardware and software is a small price to pay if it keeps me out of jail. A felony conviction even with no time would destroy my career (my profession requires professional licenses)

I have observed and have been thinking about this and many other related circumstances for quarter of century, picked my studies in accordance to this. Now that it is clear what is about to come for all of us, I often don't know what so say anymore, because reality has finally become stranger than fiction.

nope for now, they have no means of cracking it and most likely never will unless technology advances 20 years in 1 year.
you can just install qubes os yourself.
and nothing that is connected to the internet will be 100% secure sadly.

You can do all of this and still get fucked. Hardware backdoors up the wazoo. Not saying that you shouldn't be doing anything against the rampant spying, but big bro will get you if they really want to.
It works best with specialized BIOS software, which alone is hard to install. I'm not a novice in the tech world and I've found Qubes difficult to configure.
I'm also just lazy as I get older. Spending $2,000 on a preconfigured laptop, even if it is just for ordering drugs and using Tor still seems like a bargain to me given the risks in the ever increasing surveillance state.

I haven't done it myself yet, but I the plan (admittedly since quite a while...) is to run Qubes or similar, with Libreboot on a cheap Lenovo T4x0.
Same goes for Graphene, I've been told to get such a phone by more than one person.
That is a good plan, but it kinda fails already at step 1) because no fucking Chinese vendor so far wanted my XMR. Meaning I need to waste more % of the final bill for currency swapping.
I doubt there is enough of us to create enough pressure for XMR, given they now make most of their money with the gullible peptide crowd.

well with how private xmr is, i keep seeing people trying to scam ssa and others with looking up transacations on their blockchain. and wuhan wansheng hates this and places strict send money after wallet is recieved requirement.
with xmr this completely protects the reciever and sender with keeping info private on recieving address, and amount sent. which means only reciever and sender can really see if the transacation is real with exact amount, exact date with txid etc.
this not only protects you from the government but also scammers and randoms.

Hence the push for exchanges to ditch it. I think even Exodus stopped supporting it.
Does anyone who's used Graphene and Lineage have a preference of one over the other? Pros/cons?

lineage since graphene is using a containerized google store and using google hardware, not to mention the communication history of the dev.
