Hearing this come up a lot, my only real source of lifting info us the intertubes.
When I think nervous system stress in sport I think of racing car drivers and those red bull pilots etc where your focussing to superhuman levels for long durations, one lapse of concentration and you like to be dead.
Lifting weights???
How is that nerve stress, sure total body fatigue and yes you focus on correct form but I have never heard of a PTSD lifter.
Other thing I don't get is people say bb'ing is not so much pressure on yr CNS as power lifting.
I would have thought repping to failure every other day would be more stress on yr nerves than the big breaks between sets etc if low rep pl training.
