What should I do in this situation (this is interesting)

I'm really hoping some of you guys can help me out here. I never post in the anabolics section but here it goes.

I've basically got about 5 months until I start my job in LA, and I get to relax and pretty much only work part time until then, just enough to make the money I need and put away $500-800 every month. So my schedule pretty much lends itself to total devotion to bb'ing for that period. I can basically eat, sleep, and workout with little else to worry about. Lucky me. I've been on for 2 months now, and I'm thinking about either stopping and recovering right now and then going back on and staying on the rest of that time, which would be about 4 months at the most, if not less. That's taking into account waiting a week to start recovery and then 3 weeks of recovery. Or I could just keep going and end up pushing 7 months total time on. Now this is something that I would never even think twice about under normal circumstances, but considering the opportunity that I have in front of me to make some serious gains, it seems like it might be the thing to do. This is something that I will never do again, it will be a one time thing. And to tell you the truth, if I can get to about 240-245 (low 230's right now at 6'0") by the time I leave, I will be pretty much as big as I ever want to get. If this were the case, then I would most likely do mild cycles maybe twice a year just to keep myself at or around this level. Plus, with the job I'm starting, I don't see myself being able to have the type of hardcore dedication need to keep adding size at this level, at least not for the first 2 or 3 years while I'm earning my keep. But I sure as hell know that I will be able to keep what I already have, especially if I throw in some mild steroid use. I wandered a bit at the end, but basically what I'm asking is if you guys think I should just go balls to the wall for the next 5 months and take advantage of this fortunate situation. Or, could the side effects outweight the benefits. Has anyone ever been on for this long? Was it hard to recover afterwards? Did you notice any side effects (although I'm not really worried about health problems, mainly recovery related problems)? I'm only 22 btw, and so this could make recovery easier. Let me know what you think.

One more thing, for those wondering, my combined mg use never exceeds 1000 mg per week, and so I'm a fairly light user, in fact it's always at about 700-800 mg per week total.

I would say go for it. Not too many times in your life when you will be 22 and have the time and dedication to do what you want with your body. I am also about to embark on a 5 month cycle (April-August) because I am going to look my best for at least one summer, and that means not coming off until it cools down. Be sure of course to take your anti-e's and I am also going to run HCG at the midpoint of the cycle just to be safe. Checking your BP might be a good idea, too.

I would go for another three months and then give yourself two months of hard dedication to keeping as much muscle as you can and recovering. It sounds like your new job doesn't leave a lot of room for lifting? A buddy of mine stayed on for over year at 21 half a gram a week of test and never had any side effects. :(

I think since you are mid cycle as is, step it up and go balls out for MOST of the time you have left.
I agree with Dolfe1 in that you should use some of the free time before your move to focus on pct and conditioning. Why not get to L.A. knowing that your hormonal balance is well on it's way if not all the way back to baseline? Still, I don't know that you need two months for that. I'd guess training volume would come down a bit during and after pct in an effort to maintain maximal strength right? Well, that coincides with your lessened available time to train once in L.A. so I don't think you have to be completely done with recovery.

Are there any psychological issues to be addressed? Will this be a stressful move? Do you handle post cycle mood swings well enough to be at your best while "earning your keep?"

Best of luck to you....I'd say go for it man, tear yourself the fuck up.

Maybe you might want to take less than two months everyone is different, I would give yourself some extra time just to be safe. Hey not trying to jack your thread Primo but did you get your car yet occam?

Stay on. I have, I will and I currently am running a long cycle. It's so long, that I can't tell you when, if ever, I plan on stopping.

Previously, I've been on for 8 mos and recovery wasn't much of a problem, FYI

Sorry it took so long to reply, I just spent all day at discount tire. Well I think you guys have convinced me to stay on. I'm going to take this week off of training to decondition myself and heal a bit and then go for it. I never even thought about the stress of moving and what effect that might have. That's a great point to bring up. Yes, I would say it will be stressful, I've never moved out of my house before, even during college (mama's boy I guess, plus it was cheaper). I live in Phoenix, so going to a big city won't really be a problem but I do expect some stress. Plus I'll be having to do a lot of things that I've never had to do before such as being fully responsible for rent, car, cleaning my house, etc.... I think I'll take your advice Occam and cut it off about 3 weeks before the move, that way when I start work about two weeks later, it will have been 5 weeks and I'll be recovered for the most part and feeling pretty good overall. Thanks for the replies.

Hey Dolfe1-Engine bay pics and the inspection gave me pause for thought.......thick residue all over.....there is a 2000 M5 on autotrader that looks interesting......I'm still on the fence about all of it.

I'll post when I get something done.

I'd rather have an M5, have you ever driven one? Those things are mean.
