Even if proper form is utilized, what exercises would you all say are a little rough on the bones?? Like your back, knees.....

Many people can handle rear presses where many cannot, some can with free weights and some can only with a smith machine. If you are into athletics, olympic lifts are a staple, however make sure to use proper form, and gear. NEVER sacrifice proper form for weight in any of these type lifts.

True again. Yet I have still not seen a 40+ year olympic lifter in any gym I have trained at in the last 15+ years. And lets not forget Ted Arcidi doing 405 behind the neck presses. But I didn't se that either in real life. Do you have many old olympic lifters where you train?Grizzly said:Did you miss the Olympics or something? They've all been at it 10+ years.
Then you must be the one I've heard about.LOL I have had many 60+ year old competitive powerliters around me over the years.Grizzly said:Shit! LOL I'm the only person who does olympic lifts(or anything even close) where I train at. I've got a lot of old people, though. LOL
