After everything is completely out of my system, and trt is in full mode, I eat cows liver for dinner for 2 weeks. I don't know what it is in the liver but I feel great! Maybe it's the iron, or it's all in my head.
When I was having my 15 year break from all gear, I would do this every so often. I mean you can only eat liver so many days in a row and 2 weeks was good enough. I would get crazy pumps and feel great training gear free. If I was having a stretch where going to the gym just wasn't feeling so great, this is what I'd do. Since it worked so well for me then, I now implement it for those long trt periods ( 4 months or longer).
The trick to cooking liver is not to over cook. Onions and bacon help as well for those who don't like it so much.
You don't believe me? Give it a try for 2 weeks and see how you feel. You have to eat at least 2 large cuts each meal... not just a piece. I understand some people hate liver. Heck tell me to eat chicken gizzards and I'll tell you to kiss my behind! I believe you can get beef liver in capsules for those who hate the taste.
I just did a quick Google search... pretty interesting.
