heard 500mg test is a must, but then other ppl came up saying 250mg test is better.
wouldn’t it be better with starting off with something lighter like anavar or deca be better as a first cycle?

You need to be able to learn how to control and read your estrogen levels, which is why the first cycle is often the simplest, to give you that learning experience.

500mg test is a standard first cycle. It's also a very good first cycle that should produce quite significant gains.

Definitely don't start with a 19nor like deca. Not only will you need to read and control estrogen, but also prolactin, and if it's your first cycle you don't have a clue what you're doing in that regard (respectfully), plus deca can come with a bunch of mental side effects that could leave a bad taste in your mouth if that's your first experience, and it's in your system a long time so if you do get bad sides, there's nothing you can do but wait it out

I'd do it 2-3 months after starting to get a reading on your estrogen, then you can adjust your AI protocol as needed depending on what the bloodwork shows.

I'd do 12.5mg aromasin 1x a week to start. Chances are you might need to increase the to aromasin to 2x a week depending on how much you atomatize, but it's better to start lower (to avoid crashing your estrogen).

So aromasin 1x a week, get your bloodwork reading after 2 months, then increase the AI (or keep it the same) depending on what the bloodwork shows. If you start getting itchy nips your estrogen is probably too high and you should get bloodwork sooner
 
I'm a believer in 300 mg to 350 mg/week test only first cycle and then 500 as a second cycle.

200 mg of test a week will put most people around 1k total test and for some over that.

If you happen to have low T, you will notice a difference with 200 mg/ml. If your total testosterone is in normal ranges (varies somewhat depending on who is testing), you should see gains with 300 to 350 mg per week.

In the end, it varies from one individual to the next but I believe in starting with the lowest effective dose and then going from there.
 
Best first cycle is simple and 95% here will disagree, and few if any have done this.

At least 5 years hard natural training, 10 years is better.

Be at least 23, 25 is better.

Learn and research, surround yourself with winners.

If you do this and are amazing, few will be this, maybe you have earned the right to do a cycle. A cycle is not to bench 300lbs, or look good on vacation, or not to be a fat bitch anymore.

300mg TE/C better yet 100mg test prop EOD for a max of 10 weeks. You better Know PCT and watch VigorousSteve and Anabolic Doc.

Plus watch mountaindog1 every day.
 
If diet and training is all in check first then Test anywhere between 400-600mg weekly depending on current weight and amount of lean muscle you currently carry..

Keep an Ai on hand for first symptoms of gyno. Also educate yourself on these drugs..
 
Testosterone is best. It has been repeated many times before.

Moderate dosages of 250-500mg per week for 8-16 weeks is the gold standard. Depends on how well you handle and tolerate it. Also how your blood work looks. It's better to start lean and have a muscular base and basic knowledge when it comes to diet and training.
 
Test is best like others mention.

Based on personal experience where I jumped right into 500mgs, I’d say to gradually ramp up to ~400mgs and note how you feel every 100mgs so you can find your own baseline where you’re side effect free.

Keep it simple, understand how one hormone works for you then start thinking of adding another or simply play with higher test dosages to the point where you truly know how to manage your body.
 
If I was to repeat it all over it would be Testosterone 250mg/week for the first cycle. Only morons can't make gains on such first cycle. Stop listening to those who don't have any real experience and just blasted gear from the get go (most people).

thank you, would u say carbs are the most important macro on a bulk when still hitting protein goal

Everyones different of course but I would say try to put a bigger emphasis on carbs cause they transition into energy for your workouts and will give you a much fuller look

but fats are essential for health. If my fats get too low I get moody and depressed and see it as a sign from my body

so imo keep fats as low as you can and just hammer carbs till you always have that "full" look without getting sloppy looking
 
calories > protein > carbs > fats


2-3g/kg protein, 0.5-1g/kg fats and the rest with carbs is a good starting point.
