Not sure if this would be the right area to post this, but it made more sense to post it here, as opposed to the other areas.
I've been looking everywhere on the net to try to find a place to purchase or even put a special order in for dumbells that are heavier than 150lbs...........ideally a pair of 160's, 175's, and 190's,..........but I'd take anything over 150lbs,.....(Hex would be awesome, but I'm not aware of them going over 120lbs.)
I can't seem to find anyone that knows anything about getting dumbells higher than 150lbs, .......even companies that you might expect would carry them, or at least be able to point you in the right direction,.........atomic athlete, elitefitness systems, etc.
It seems odd to me that I can't find anything out there at all, over 150lbs. All depending on the person, it seems to me that if someone could max out with a bench or military press of 330ish that they so should be able to handle the 150's for a single or double. Which granted, you don't see many people moving in mid to higher 300's and over for bench, or military press, but to me, it doesn't seem like anything totally outlandish,......considering D1 lineman, linebackers, etc.......not to mention competitive powerlifters, strongman competitors, bodybuilders, ..........and of course not to neglect some of the more hard core gym rats.
