Which brands of syringe filters do you trust?

The whatman syringe filters are expensive. I was wondering if there are any brands that you trust that are cheaper than $7 each

I use chinese filters from ebay. Around 1-2$/each

The BioMed on amazon, get nylon not pdfv. The nylon can take alot of force too dont rip. The PVDF kept breaking/ripping when i used syringe filter.

I have brewed 1000’s of mL with these. They have sterile nylon BioMed 22 um

1-2 $ each, or something the clear ones

PVDF is always recommended before nylon when I was researching homebrewing. Did I mess up buying tons of it?

This brand and I heard they break easy when applied pressure. And that occured for me. I was able to press full force with nylon where the others broke. I like nylon better, they seem to be realiable.

Alot of people use both kinds, so no you did not mess up.

Is this the same BioMed you are talking about? I' ve done a little bit of searching online and there seems to be a legit Biomed that sells all sorts of medical suplies and then there is this Biomed Scientific that I got filters from and it looks sketch as fuk.... they have no expiry date printed on them for one, and they came directly from China, were odered from Amazon Fr.

i just received them hence my previous question. I do not advise buying them as of yet, they seem to me like chinese ripoffs... I messaged the seller but got no reply. will send you the link...

the ones I got are sterile too, just Pvdf not nylon.
the issue is the ones I got look nothing like the picture or the listing on amazon and they have no dates on them as I've said

mine most definitly have dates, also they are clear.

They are chinese name brand…. BioMed.
