I still can't get over the fact that he actually brought up the the topic of the size of his dick during the 2016 Republican nomination debates. Skipped giving an answer on what he would do to maintain the US's nuclear triad deterrent, which is virtually obsolete, but did think the size of his dick was worth mentioning.

I'm probably older than most of the guys on this forum, probably twice as old as most of them and then some. Trust me when I say voting will never change jack shit in this country. Dems and Republicans are both the same, they are bought off by the same people, they are owned by the same lobbyist that rob us of our freedoms and rights we used to have long long ago.
The most alarming change to this country since I grew up in the 70's and part of the 80's is the additional powers of the police state. We have turned this fucking country into a giant prison, ten thousand pages of criminal code is what most states have now. If you were in prison during the 70's, you probably murdered, raped, robbed someone. If you're in prison now you probably committed one of the thousands of victimless crimes for which there are no witnesses to testify, just a state run by psychopaths that view you as their property.
The most alarming change to this country since I grew up in the 70's and part of the 80's is the additional powers of the police state. There's no doubt far rightwing christians(republicans) should have never been allowed to run anything, let alone the country.
The laws of the land are based on this idea of morality, that if you break them you have committed a grave offense to the state, a state that can never be presented in person to make claim against the so called law breaker(just like the made up Yahweh and Jesus of the bible some people love to fear). These concepts are easily put in place when you have large numbers of idiots we call christians that think it's okay to piss the one and only life you have away for the do-over you'll get when they cover you with dirt.
Bottom line is our politicians have a sadist point of view, they don't give a shit about those suffering that happen to break anyone of the many thousands of arbitrary laws, the lifetime felon status that documents them to be chronically unemployed and cuts them off from all resources society has to offer, or used to offer. They go through life as pariahs and the state is alright with this because the prison industrial complex lobbies heavily to keep people in prison and with a 70% recidivism rate for anyone caught up as felon it's a goldmine to be cashed in on because any moron can work as a prison guard, offering endless employment opportunities to those who display absolutely no interest any using their minds for anything of worth to society at large.
The easiest way to defeat this mindset would be to vote for those that will crush taxes, if you get rid of their funding they can't prop up the police state. Republicans talk a big game when it comes to reducing taxes, but when they do collect revenue(and they collect plenty), the number one thing on their list is to fund all forms of LE and Military to make sure people know who's in charge. Started with Richard Nixon, and even though Dems support all forms of the police state, they will at least point out when it commits grave harm, unlike republicans that get on their hands and knees to lick the boots of anyone wearing a tin badge.
Now Libertarians are different, support for a powerful domestic only military, but completely anti-police state. Would be nice if we'd ban republicans and democrats and only allow those that want the maximum freedom for all people. It's starts by tearing up all the existing law libraries and going back to only charging people for crimes where there was an actual victim that can present their grievance in person for violence or property crimes.

Your disdain for Christians here is misplaced. A fair number of us are also libertarians. Your support for the Libertarian (capital L) party is also misplaced. Its chosen representatives running for office in recent years have supported foreign military interventions almost as strongly as the controlling parties.
Well then these aren't libertarians. Party policy is that war is justified in defense, but finding peaceful resolutions to disagreements is the default. There are plenty of libertarians that are in fact not, they are basically far right christians siding with Israel. That's the dead give away, if you find a zionist there's no fucking way they can be a libertarian, packing up $4 billion a year to send to another country for military support is by default against libertarian principles.
Remember freedom "under god" is supposed to in the mindset of far right libertarians question the power of the state, but it's just another prison to stick people in because when you're "under god" you can make up any horse shit tyrannical idea you want, you can usher in "christian values" which for a free thinker is tyranny by default.
As for religion and politics, religion closes the mind off, it deals with a handed down set of dogmas and absolutes, the religious mind needs rules to follow, it simply can't or won't engage in free thought, questioning by default, skepticism of all things is a sin in the bible. Once a person comes to this way of thinking, they easily see the state and it's many arbitrary rules and regulations as handed to them by a higher power, one that is easily dismissed by going through an infinite regress to find out who the fuck gave anyone the right to rule over anyone else. Remember the social contract doesn't exist, it's a philosophical rambling, you were plopped out of your moms crotch onto this land in a completely random act, you never chose to sign anything agreeing to terms, so the state assumed your position all while under threat of violence if you don't comply.

In some ways the republican idea to cut taxes is very much the right way, however it's a shell game, they never cut police state funding and at this point some of the largest lobbying groups come from LE and the Prison Industry that calls for more police and more laws to lock up more people to keep the business going.
Only through massive tax cuts that are spread across all sectors, but focusing on Legislation, LE, and Incarceration will you destroy the power of these psychos. I would also move massive amounts of guns all through this country, I would make it mission number one to arm all citizen with the most deadly weapons, sniper rifles, high capacity weapons and I would make it mandatory that every child K-12 studies and recites anti-government, anti-authority, anti-religion literature.
Going through archives of speeches given by democrats during the 80's and 90's showed us that it was them more than anyone else that called for not just punishing drug dealers(which they shouldn't), but Biden called for going after "every drug user", he wanted drastic funding increases for policing and eventually we saw what happened during the 90's when the drug war was scaled up exponentially to what we have today which is a holocaust, much like the nazi's that pinned all that was wrong with their society on the jews, the United States went through periods where they to pinned all that was wrong with society on drug users, Biden called for more Judges, Prosecutors and more cops to carry out a scorched earth policy where no one was left behind.
So while republicans are in all respects idiots, the democrats at least throughout the past back to Kennedy have proven to be evil incarnate.
