Why would any bodybuilder make fun of free pizza mondays at Planet Fitness?

Because you are what you eat....regardless if you're bulking or cutting.

Eat like shit.....Look like shit
Truer words were never spoken. Also, FEEL like shit when you eat shit. I have tried it all, dirty bulk, clean and slow/steady muscle gain, etc... Guess what, the "slow" method has ALWAYS been the best method. I feel and look better, win win.

The adage is its not the "potato"
but what folk put in or on it that diminishes it's nutritional value AND the same is true for PIZZA!

That being said I wouldn't look to PF for a high end pizza lol.
One of my darkest secrets is i like to make BLT pizza.
Bacon, shredded lettuce and fire roasted tomato. The secret? Mayonnaise instead of sauce. Lots of mayo.
Not much nutritional value at all. Its probably 85% pure fat.

You need to move to the Philippines, they put mayo on their mayo. Never seen a country so inFATuated with mayo. The mayo aisles in grocery stores are massive, what a selection....

I learned to add "no sugar, no mayo, no corn" to any food order in the PI. Appalling eating habits there.

Used to go here when I first started working out a while ago. But now hardly ever go unless I need to tan, since I belong to other gyms. Anyway free pizza Mondays? What is so bad about that? Especially if you are bulking or just need fast digesting carbs on a high carb day? I've also seen bodybuilders make fun of the place for having bagels. Really? When's the last time that a bagel was bad for carbs directly after a hard intense workout?

I don't think these are bad things at all. For a person trying to lose weight? Sure it is. But for a guy looking to put on mass they have their place.

Nothing better than grease on your weights, especially those heavy dumbbells.
