Will Nizoral affect my cycle?

I ordered some today and was reading on the web site that its an anti androgen of which I am taking 750mg a week.

Will this weaken my cycle and if so should I up the dose to say a gram a week?

I've heard good things about this product and I am at the beginnig stage of losing some hair at the crown and thought I'd give it a try.

Nizoral is a shampoo that contains a broad-spectrum antifungal, which inhibits the growth of yeast and other fungal infections providing relief from dandruff. Ketaconazole is also known to have anti-androgenic effects and Ketoconozole can cause a reduction in the production of testosterone and other androgens by the adrenal gland and by the male and female reproductive organs. Nizoral shampoo contains 2% Ketoconazole and is often prescribed for the treatment of fungal infections of the scalp and sebbhoreic dermatitis, however as it has anti androgenic properties it is used by some individuals in combination with other treatments in the treatment of androgenetic alopecia.

Recent research indicates that long-term use of Nizoral Shampoo may have some benefit in the treatment of androgenetic alopecia. Nizoral shampoo is also unique because it's effect is long lasting. Even after rinsing, Nizoral carries on working for several days. This means that you don't need to use Nizoral every day making it extremely cost-effective. And unlike some other anti-dandruff treatments, Nizoral shampoo has a pleasant fragrance and is pH balanced leaving hair soft, healthy and clean.

Upping the dosages to a gram per week will not "counter" the effects of nizoral....nizoral will have an extremely small, if any effect on your cycle. You will have so much test running through your blood, that any effects the nizoral has on DHT will be small and you prolly wont notice it. I am running 500 mg test/week with 30 mg/dbol and if the nizoral i am using is hampering the AAS at all, it is barely noticeable. I am making great gains. I am also using proscar, which may have a more profound effect on the cycle, but again, the hampering effects are very very small if any at all because of the amounts of test you have in your system. So dont worry about using the nizoral. better to be safe than sorry. The way I see it is the test to nizoral in a ratio(ar any anti-androgenic meds) are dependant on one another....so i dont think that upping the test will make any difference with the nizoral, except possibly making you bigger.

Now, if you were lifting naturally, proscar and nizoral will most likely have a a more profound effect on your gains because all you have to rely on is your natural test production and DHT conversion.
