what you said is exactly why. I am an individual that wants to maximize my value. That means by allowing others to make as little off of me as possible. I dont hold anything against them for wanting to make as much as possible. I would do the same.

Why lower profits? This is what gets me about people. They want to kill the big guy who makes tons of cash, yet bitch when they dont get a raise. The companies do exactly what the individual tries to do...maximize profit. Individuals do it through negotiating salary. We sell our time and skills for a price. Companies sell their products and services for a price. Theres not much difference here. Plus, we have a mostly free market economy. It is a companies right to maximize profit.

Thick, its no different than your own business. You want to keep overhead as low as possible while still charging people the same amount, thereby increasing your overall profit. For your business, you have added a 2nd location to be able to reach more people. Another thing you could (or may have already) do is hire another chiro or massage therapist and take a piece of their billings. Or charge them for the office space. Id probably do the first option of taking a piece of their pie.

Not only that, we now share that limited supply with Nevada which makes it even more costly. It's a fucking conspiracy between the oil companies and the State/States. Now for anyone to defend what is going on from a "hey you would do the same" standpoint is rediculous. It's like selling tap water to kids after an earthquake.....

Supplies really are pretty limited right now. Its a nationwide problem which is why gas prices are about 30 cents more expensive now as compared to a year ago. Crude oil is roughly $35 a barrel due to reductions in output by OPEC nations, that translates to relatively high prices for consumers. Its not an oil company conspiracy, its a virtual monopoly by the Saudis, Iranians, etc.
