I agree. I got the vaccine and had zero issues. Nobody I know had any issues at all. I know 4 people who got COVID and only 1 of them was asymptomatic. 2 felt like death for 2 weeks, 1 died. He was 38 years old and pretty healthy too (slightly above average fitness level, he biked a lot, I don't think he had any pre-existing conditions...). That was really sad to see. His wife and kid have had a tough time, thankfully he had a big life insurance policy though. Of the 2 that got sick, one of them had long term symptoms (horrible fatigue and constantly being out of breath).


The only thing is that there is a way higher rate of blood clots with the actual virus than there is with the vaccine. so you are most definitely much better off with the vaccine than without.

It is all about risk management. You can take a big risk and get the virus, unvaccinated. Or you can take a small risk and get the vaccine. I chose the small risk.

My main issue now Is that if I get into a car crash, I can't get into the fucking ICU because it's full of COVID people (almost all of which are unvaccinated young people).

I just wish people would wear masks in public places. That's really all I ask for.

second time I had no idea I had zero symptoms. My moms a nurse and director at a big covid hotspot she used to bring home the tester all the time and swab us all.

I do bed side procedures with covid patients almost every week. I’ve never had an issue thankfully.

but every person in the ICU with covid is either 300+ lbs or extremely old with many pre existing medical conditions… never once have I seen a healthy person their with covid. These people are all vented by the way… and the chances of them coming off a vent are extremely low.

So, as I said, if I got hit by a drunk driver or something, I am fucked, I have to be carted like 45 mins away to the nearest hospital (idk if that one is full or not, haven't checked). These people who aren't getting vaccinated and then are getting COVID are raking away Healthcare resources from the rest of us.

I’ve never witnessed it myself. I am not one for the news personally. Never have been. Not doubting you at all but The youngest guy I saw was 32 if. I remember correctly.

Preventable covid cases should be last on the list of priorities when considering who receives scarce resources. Better yet give them a script for ivermectin and send them home. That way they get the treatment they believe in, and they don't have to threaten the attending physician and staff.

This is the study where they got that 450/million number from.

I am not saying the vaccine is harmless or risk free. That is fucking retarded and I don't know anybody who says that. The vaccine is safER than getting the actual virus though, according to the statistics. So again, you can either take a small risk and get the vaccine, or you can take a large risk and get the virus.

When it comes down to it, one thing is extremely clear: no matter where you look, studies from all over the world report the same thing: myocarditis rates are WAY fucking higher for young, healthy people who got the VIRUS than the vaccine. Eventually, everyone will get the virus. There is nothing we can do to stop that at this point. Statistically speaking, the chances are that you'll be fine.

But if you are afraid of the miniscule risk of myocarditis from the vaccine...then why are you LESS afraid of the WAY HIGHER risk of myocarditis from the actual virus? That doesn't make any sense!

So in that case, why not get vaccinated? There is an ever BETTER chance that you will be totally fine and nothing will happen? If you were standing in front of 2 doors and one door had a 0.1% chance of someone shooting you in the face as soon as you opened it, and the other door had a 0.00045% chance, wouldn't you pick the second door?

I agree, but idea that someone who wears a mask is "living in fear" is just fucking wrong and dumb. I wear a mask simply because I hate getting sick. It sucks balls. You feel like shit, possibly miss work to lay around feeling like shit, can't work out, can't really do anything physical (which are basically all my hobbies). It just overall really sucks to be sick.

So I wear a mask. Not because I am scared of getting sick, but because I recognize that it will reduce the odds of me getting sick, and I hate getting sick. Seems like a pretty minimal tradeoff. Especially when you look around and have fat, nasty, grown adults who apparently never learned to cover their mouth when they cough. So anyway, yeah, I wear a mask. Not because someone told me to do it, but because I think it is a really easy thing to do to avoid getting sick. I don't think anyone is mad at you for wearing a mask. The only reason they'd be angered is if you place blame on non masked people for the situation. The whole concept of, "unvaxxed people are getting vaxxed people sick" makes zero sense.

I think yes the covid has changed a lot based on how it was when the Chinese stamp of the virus was. And he mutated and became a more serious problem as the complexity of his treatment increased.
