I will say that we are all now diagnosed with covid in my house for a first and I now have THE FEAR... While I am certain I had the alpha strain in NOV 2019, there was no way to confirm it back then. I just know I lost smell, got wild heat blisters on my back, heart palps, weakness, dizzy, and all strength left me for MONTHS. not to mention the all night coughing for two months. If I do have Omicron this time, I will say its hitting harder than alpha in my chest as I actually get some sharp occasional pains throughout the day, but my energy is not as sapped.. I also do have to wonder if I am unfortunate enough to have delta.

If I get worked up I can start tripping like I cant breathe and have to walk around or take a shower to chillax.. I can't emphasize enough what this feels like to the mind its kinda like a mild bad acid trip. My wife has been up there babbling at the dog for the past hour non stop. Extra bizarre behavior.

Hospitals are officially packing out down here in the South. I called my doc's office to discuss and the local hospital is fresh out of monoclonal antibodies. I said put me thru to his nurse and the line said there were 20+ people ahead of me to speak. So we are on the verge of a total OVERLOAD fukfest in the deep south and like never seen before down here.

Tomorrow I am heading out to get some ivermectin paste just in case. I have talked to people that used it and it works well apparently. While I don't want to do that, I am not going in to a hospital where I will loose that treatment option once I am there. Not without attempting first. The people I talked to said they would wake up feeling shitty and take a dab and be back up doing laundry and house chores in 30 mins. They started it a week after notice of illness and ran it for the second week and were done with covid by the third week. They told me the dosage is on the pack or tube so I am assuming they dosed as if there were horses... LOL I will get details prior to going to that length....

BE CLEAR I have read that its not hard to OD on ivermectin if you don't know what you are doing. So I am not advocating without a sound research base...

I just hope I wake up better tomorrow. I figure I had it coming on for about a week before we tested POS last Tuesday due to a child's PCR test return. Coincidentally my chest symptoms progressed at that point.. I do think its mostly sinus. But the lung pangs have my attention....

Finally, and oddly I had been deloading as of late and my arm workout the day we all took the instant test was my strongest day in a while. I was honestly surprised to see a pos result as many tests as I have taken. I was almost certain it was not possible for me to get it. But, clearly its not like the alpha strain that would just pull the plug on all available energy stores. This is not to say I dont get dizzy coughing on this one.

As far as false positives on instant test, which I questioned, my wife pointed out that there were four pos tests sitting there all together from four different people. I'm a little freaked and just making sure to get take my benzo. The mind can go to bad places between the brain fog and the stress of knowing you have a pos test with hospitals crashing soon. Bad places FAST. I'm 50 and these stories of people going downhill steadily for months and these "Battles" till death are unnerving to say the least.

No I am not vaxed and would not have been due to genetic thick blood and clotting factors. So that is that.

Anyways, no change for me yet. SO as for day 5 post POS test result, and I have probably had it going on 2 weeks counting incubation. I haven't had a fever or it was only the extent of a couple of nights feeling frigid getting up to piss in the middle of the night - 10 times a damb night... I'm still coughing but its not deep in my lungs like the alpha was. Seems like mostly sinus drainage and upper respiratory fluid. The mucus is a tad thinner now. The headache is pretty odd and not only comes and goes, but seems to stay on the move. My eyes are tore up with something and I still have to flush them all day long... and to be honest I think I am having some hot spots on my nut sack.. The quads remain excessively sore and beat up feeling even though I have not seen a leg workout in two weeks .

Yea I dont know cause even if I had a vaccine I'm not sure the safety of putting a foreign insult to the body just to prepare it for the main event. That's the equivalent of having someone punch you in the eye to get you ready for an ass whupin... Its just not a typical vaccine and I have to question if it even works... Who knows tho Maybe I'll be sorry I am not vaxxed up should the omicron go crazy and break off into 10 deadly variants.
