workout plan advice w/ swimming

Hey guys,
Just started a new winny cycle. I want to really try and get into real shape here. I mean true shape. I am pretty lean naturally so I am lucky. I also have never gone for the big bulky look mainly just trying to keep that chiseled "V" shape.
I have been doing the old 5X5 on all the main lifts with quicker lighter weights on the less important lifts in between. It has worked great so far. I have been doing this on a 4 day split, with one true cardio day.

I want to try a something new and incorporate swimming. I want to try and build a huge chiseled "V" insane back and shoulders. Does anybody have any advice or routines that they have used that have worked.

Thanks

For starters, the 5X5 is more than just a set/rep scheme. I'm glad what you are doing is working for you, but if you want really great results, then you have to do THE 5X5.

Other than that, well......no, there isn't much more. If you want to grow quickly and efficiently, THE 5X5 will work wonders.

If you are looking for something else, then I would suggest to do the following for your "back" day:

Deadlifts(real!!!! goddamned deadlfits from the floor): Several sets of around 4-6 reps
Chins: Maybe do as many sets as it takes you to get to 50
Rows: 4X4-6

That's all.

Yeah Man,
I have been training for awhile, Think I should have worded it differently. I def. do deadlifts, power-cleans chins, squats, all of it. That stuff is the only true way to workout.
My problem is i have incorporated swimming and i am trying to find a good split for lifting and swimming. I was wondering if i need to "revise the 5x5" while swimming?
Thanks for the advice
