Would Primo help maintain gains on cruise?

50+ y/o active powerlifter. Blasts are Test 500 mg 12 weeks and oral of choice ( Var or A-drol 6 weeks up to meet) . Cruise at 200mg. Noticed that
as I get older I tend to lose a little more strength then I use to between. Have to stay on the safe side due to age but anyone use primo in between
B&C to help maintain strength gains? Just curious. Thanks

I can't say this as a matter of personal experience, because I blast and cruise too, but I've read that doing PCT can actually increase gains in the long run. Something about androgen receptors multiplying in the sudden absence of high levels of testosterone. Anyone else heard of this? At one point I was going to come of HRT for 3 to 6 months to try it, but I couldn't bring myself to do it for some reason.

Fuck pct...never again want to subject myself to that again until I’m an old father with no financial obligations

Why would you want to PCT when you're an old father?

... Surely the ideal time to cruise forever is when you've got no financial obligations?

I only take gear for vanity purposes. If I ever get to that point there won’t be any need for blasting, just a regular trt dose will do. I should’ve rephrased that post as I didn’t mean a full on pct

You are wasting your time with this compound as a powerlifter
Kind of what I was thinking. Protein and diet are spot on. Im at the top end of 181.Pre contest weight 185. Cuts become more detrimental at this age. As orals wear off and test levels go back to cruise, weight goes to 178 and strength follows. I could put on more weight during cruise but as above I dont want to struggle with the weight cuts and like to allow some room, as I gain weight during the pre contest cycles. I guess I have to succumb to the fact that at 54 Im on the downside of the mountain. Ive had to become more creative in training and thinking outside the box since hitting 50 ( you will be there someday and understand ..lol) . Attempted to weigh 198 some years back but just wasnt a healthy fit for me so not really an option. Thanks for all the advice. Will continue to try and beat back father time, although I know I may win a few rounds, he will eventually win the fight :)

I tried that and it actually ended up turning into a bit of a cycle.it was doing 150 test and 400 primo. Joints hurt like hell though.

hgh or some peptides are probably a better option at your age
