Obligatory intro..

39. 6'1". 8 months of cutting from 240/35% to 185/14%. Lifted heavily in 20s, got married had kids blah blah blah. Also fusing in lower lumbar. Seperated in April, focusing on fixing myself and my life. Was in depression deeply, hated my job, my ex, everything. Found solace in the silent clang of iron.

Have been on TRT 200mg/e7d four months. Changed to 100mg e3.5d a few weeks ago.

Nowhere near natural limits, still weak AF, but I figure I'm getting old and not going to wait ten years so fuck it. Test Cyp 250 mh e3.5d. Started Arimidex .5 e3.5d at same time. Only on second pin this morning. Probably cut the AI in another half next time, feeling like shit (no energy, lethargic). Will run for 16 weeks, then back to TRT.

Been trying to read as much as I can and learn. Having real issues with grip. Tennis elbow almost healed up from trying to much too fast. Strongly considering a cruise dose of deca (100mg) for joint pain. Pinching in left bi/tri during OHP.

Lifts :
Bench 205
Squat 225
Dead 310
OHP 135

Program is nSuns 531 LP 5 day. It is a powerlifting program that I am using as a BB program with the accessories I add. All lifts started as bar weight only last June. Just now making it to lifts I had in my 20s.

Just finished micro bulk 6 week at 2650 kcal, started 3 week micro cut at 2050. Planning on next bulk at 3200, as blast should be kicking in by then. Protein is BW, fat is 20-30%, rest is carb. Average is 40/25/35 p/f/c. Use MFP religiously. No special diet like keto or Paleo, just majority whole foods. Fast food is always just grilled chicken breast only, no fried foods. Diet soda only bad food habit.

Thanks guys. Have actually been lurking for about two months reading everything I can, which is a lot.

Question.. for my first cycle log.. is it actually relevant to post that detailed menu breakdown? Seems a bit extreme.

Welcome.

Try to figure that shoulder issue out without deca. All deca will do is mask the issue, potentially leading to further injury as you push harder. Shoulder mobility programs will be a good thing for you.

Thank you for the input. I do agree and was part of consideration already. I wouldn't be adding deca till after a few weeks back on cruise post cycle, and only 50 mg e3.5d added to my trt pin as a starting point. Just tired of the snap, crackle, pop.

Too much info:
Bi/tri issue is a form issue. Trying to get it worked out. I keep bowing my elbows out instead of forward. Most likely related to tennis elbow and imbalance between anterior & posterior delts. The area of the pinch tells me I am putting to much stress on rotator cuff, so I immediately stop and reset my movement. Everything is fine until I break form again.

Tennis elbow was caused by doing a 3*315 dead.. when my previous PR was only 170*5. Dumbass rookie move that halted much of my push progress from October -> December. Added forearm, grip, and squeeze exercise since then.

Also doing full mobility exercises daily when I remember, as I am tight all over. Fingers are finally half way down my shin on toe touch, which is farther than I have been able to reach since high school.

Running a deload week this week to let CNS / joints catch up. Increased weight by 15lb week over week last eight weeks all major lifts except OHP which went to 10 then 5 then 0 over last 3 weeks. First forced deload I have had to do, right inline with stepping into "novice" weight ranges.

this is a big concern dude. Not saying you should be a limber like a 12 year old gymnast but you should be better than that. Put yourself on a nightly mobility routine at home. Basic stretches and shit like that to start. Be consistent, you will pay with injuries if you don't. I'm a walking storybook for not being limber enough. Trust me on this....

Images if you care.. blurry pic is with pump. All pics from three weeks ago. Lots of extra stomach skin on top of the fat I still have, hoping as I grow/lean it will fill out.

You don't even want to know how bad it was before I started the stretching program.
