years of test use shut down system. need help please

i'm 29 yrs old and i have been using testosterone to get big on and off for about 5 years. the first couple years i took test without knowing about pct. i stopped taking it about 5 months ago and i can't get my body back to normal. i went to a doctor and he told me he never treated someone with problems from aas. can someone please help me in the recovery of my system

obviously you need to get blood work done.
request/demand the following.
total testosterone
free testosterone
fsh
LH
estradiol
cortisol
prolactin
tsh and of course a full lipid profile.
get all of these.

Did you do PCT the last time?

If you're within driving distance of Lansing, MI, you could make an appointment to go and see Swale (Dr. John Crisler). He has TONS of experience treating men like yourself and he'll take good care of you.

If that's not an option, then I suggest you get the yellow pages and start calling doctors offices, ask for the head nurse, and then ask her if the doctor has experience treating former AAS users, and/or administering TRT. Ask her what the treatment plan usually is. Find out as much as you can before you make an appointment.

You may also want to post this question in the anabolic forum. There are lots more bros experienced with PCT there than here. But if you're having problems you really should be under the care of a good doctor.

Yeah go to a doctor who knows what he's doing. I would think it wouldn't matter if you used or not because isn't it the same .. even if you didn't ever use your natural test is still low and i think if you never used and have that problem it's more of a problem because it's coming from something other than the gear. Someone will help you because i'm sure i'm not

the problem is , i live in key west , fl and there isn't an endocrinologist within 200 mile here. i went to 3 doctors here and they kepp referring me to other doctors who have no clue about this problem. and i don't have a clue either. is there a doctor online that you can refer me to ? cuz i'm almost s... out of luck. any help would be appreciated.........

Its sounds like from what you have said, that you have done some post cycle therapy this time and it hasnt worked yet. You have had good advice so far from the bros here.. it can take more than a year for the body to recover, and sometimes it doesnt.
I dont think anyone here knows of an "online doctor". I think you are just going to have buy yourself an airline ticket to Swales practice to save yourself from further complication.

or barring that, mail your blood somewhere to be tested (lef has an option for this, correct?), figure out what needs to be done by asking around, then use your local docs to prescribe the necessary meds or resort to the black market.

All that would likely be cheaper than a plane ticket, which is the only reason I'm suggesting it.

Cheaper but not better. Once you see Swale in person, you can continue your treatment over the Internet via "virtual office visits." He's the best at what he does. I say this assuming that you did proper PCT but are still supressed. If you haven't done PCT then you need to. But if you have done PCT and you can't go to see Swale....

Most endocrinologists are good at treating various diseases, but terrible at treating hypogonadism or AAS recovery. Generally speaking you should stay away from endos.

Try finding an anti-aging doctor. http://www.worldhealth.net/p/447.htmlto a doctor search from an organization that Swale lectures for. You may get lucky and find a doc who is familiar with his work.

See if any of your local doctors will work with Dr Crisler on a "consulting basis". Tell them that it's just like doctors at Mayo Clinic do all the time. The local doctor will still be your PCP (Primary Care Physician) and he will write up orders for your Lab work and write up your prescriptions - after consulting with Dr C after Dr C analyzes your Lab results, medical records, etc.

This is a great way to go - IF you can find a doc who will go along with it - as you just pay the more minimal and occasional consultation fees AND a doctor in your area becomes an expert at doing HRT / TRT for men in that area. You can maybe put icing on the cake by emphasizing that last part and pointing out the likelihood of the local doctor having a booming business in no time....

What did you do for your last PCT? Clomid? Nolvadex? How much? How long? You basically have two options:

1) Keep trying to restart the HPTA
2) Do HRT

Judging by your question, I have to assume that you didn't do PCT. You should post this question in the anabolic forum. Those guys can tell you for sure what you need to do for proper PCT, as they have the necessary experience. I believe there are stickys there. Somone can help you there. But that sounds like what you should do (PCT).

He has to see you once in person. Then after that he can do everything remotely.
