Your First Meet

I've never done adderall, but I did my first meet 2.5 weeks ago. I will say, you will not have any problems with energy levels. I only slept 4 hrs on Thursday night and Friday night before the meet and I was exhausted. When it got time to lift I was fucking jacked. I had no idea how much the adrenaline would take over, it was unreal! I will add, after driving home 3 hrs from the meet I was exhausted! The next day I felt like I had been in a fucking car wreck, sore and tired as hell. I wasn't expecting that as I train very hard, but there is no duplicating the intensity and energy expenditure of the meet! Good luck and have fun!

I've had to pop nose tork just to survive the drive home after lolol
 
My 10 yr old son went with me. He slept a the way home as I struggled to stay awake! I laid on the sofa for 30 mins after hittin a bowl and when tried to get up and move around it almost brought tears to my eyes!

My meet was luckily only two hours away from where I was living but i traveled to a couple meets for other guys 5.5 and 7hrs. I didn't even lift those times and still hit the tork. Yea I did more than just a bowl lol. Especially before my meet, I was hitting the L all day

I agree with this. I once fucked up my cut and missed for the 5pm weigh in and ended up staying up all night trying to take off the last 1 1/2 pounds by the morning weigh in. Made weight and figured I would be exhausted but I wasn't.

It was still a disaster as I tore my bicep which I'm convinced was a result of not eating or drinking anything for over 30 hours. Trying to reload in an hour and then lifting. Also passed out on both of my last two pulls both of which I got. Ended up with bruises all over my body the next day from the falls.

Another time a "friend" of mine flew to do a meet with a female friend he was helping train online. Ended up hooking up with the friend and between the excitement of the meet and the excitement of the first time being with this girl didn't sleep all night with lots of sex of various types involved.

The female was panicked she would bomb out of the meet from lack of sleep and instead set PR's in two of three lifts plus PR total while he also said a PR in what was his 20'th or so meet. Adrenaline is a wonderful thing!
 
How do judges determine depth on the squat at meets? I'm constantly thinking I'm not going deep enough. But I don't want to go ATG, I just want to go to parrell.
