ZapCap for Bottle top filter

Will a Whatman Zapcap unit work for a bottle top?
It looks as tho you filter into a large bottle not a 10mm vial.

So I would filter into larger container than pour into 10mm vials?
Does that sound correct?

Is there a cheaper bottle top solution for filling 10mm, through 50mm vials then crimp.
Appreciate any help on this.
Thank you

Everything past the filter membrane needs to hold vacuum in Zapcaps.
Thus a properly fitting media bottle becomes a must.

Maybe, you can find a receiving burette or dropping funnel

whose neck fits the Zapcaps perfectly, holding vacuum.

You can also use a Whatman Polycap

with positive pressure at the top hose, instead of vacuum at the bottom
so a seal at the receiving media bottle or burette ain't even needed.

Either way
After filtering, you just open the valve (called a stopcock)

and fill the vials.

Big pharma uses a large-scale (and automated) version of the above to filter oil and fill vials
but it works the same.

Man. I just want to upgrade from the caulking gun.
I guess set it and let it drip down.

I want to buy whatever I need, i just dont know what all parts are needed for the bottle tops.

Thanks for the heads up @master.on

IMO switch Polycaps
way easier to operate and won't leak like Zapcaps .
Just my $0.02

I would get some foxx autofil and get a glass media bottle. I would also get a gl45 septa cap that way once you are done filtering you can put the septa cap on and draw out of the media bottle to fill vials.
