Zapcap-s bottle top question

Just a quick question, I bought the zapcap-s filter. Has anyone here used that type. The only reason I’m asking is because it doesn’t say what type of filter membrane it has. Just says glass fiber prefilter. This will work for gear correct?ty for any advice

Im pretty sure that’s a sterilized zapcap “s” and it’s cellulose acetate membrane. With a a glass prefilter. On the glass prefilter I’m not 100% sure if gtg or not. I THINK I’ve read somewhere to not use eo or guac with that. Might want to keep checking

Ok thanks. I’m just using MCT. Nothing crazy. It says its for hplc solutions, I’m gonna assume that includes gear. Wish I took chemistry now.....

I was reading more in that thread”questions about membranes” and it said don’t use ba with glass and no organic solvents for cellulose acetate. So maybe you can do more research just so you’re sure and safe. I’ll keep looking around too and see if I can find anything else. Good luck!
