Speaking Juan anybody think he really 20k-30k+ calories a day as he claims of pure junk food.

I am not sure, but I follow him on instagram and I envy his diet. Its unreal for someone in the sport. If you do notice though, thats mostly his offseason diet. When he is dialing in for a competition. He doesn't really posts much on that ridiculous diet.

Well if he eats all that I wouldn't envy his diet I would feel bad. I hate eating so many calories as it is and they are no where close to that range. Plus shit gets expensive real fast.

Yeah I never really saw why or how people caould call phil the 'gift'. I mean he has big arms, yeah, but his clavicles and shoulders are really narrow and his chest is this strange looking sucked in thing I can't even describe. Ronnie is more a 'gift' than mr. Heath IMO not to mention that the bigger his already big arms get, the worse his narrow clavicles and small chest appear.

I love food brother. If I didn't counter it with weight training there could probably exist a series of me by the title of half ton man.

Speaking of amazing people who should of won at one point or another, Tom Platz, the only thing I don't like about him, is when he speaks too much philosophy. Sounds like a damn hippy to me. Watching him train was amazing though, his intensity was up there!

It is crazy to me how much difference there are between pictures, video, and live viewing. I started to download the prejudging on Saturday morning, but there was like two people seeding so it took all the way until Sunday to finish. By that point I had saw all the pictures and the results.

My initial thought seeing pictures was wow Kai looks blocky as shit (not Markus Rhul blocky, but not good). Seeing the video though he never looked that way in his poses. He has them down perfect to highlight his best features, and down play his weaknesses.

I have most years of the bodybuilding.com coverage on an external hard drive, so I had to look back to see Phil in previous years. In previous years I will say he was pretty much untouchable, but this year he just did not bring the same package. 2009 Phil Heath that got 4th looked way better than 2014 Phil that won. When he walks out to pose he is usually "tight" (that is his own words), but this year he had a bit of a distended stomach for the first time. Still when Phil and Kai hit the most muscular to finish things off Phil destroys him and that is the last thing the judges see.

On a side note, the guy I think will be making some waves in the future is Justin Compton. Two pro shows with one win already and he is like 26/27 years old. He did his own diet for the Orlando show.

I want to know what it is that brings these guys to that next level look? I take drugs and train probably as hard as some
Competitors but will never look like they do. How do they get over that hump from being amateur to pro? What kind of drug combos do these guys really use?

@pmac928 My buddy and I have discussed this forever. You see a guy at nationals get a pro card and would think they are pretty much as good as they can get, but then a year or two later they step onstage as a pro with another 20-30lbs of muscle. My buddy will be competing at nationals next month, and in 12+ years of serious lifting his longest break was two weeks after a show (that shit is nuts). So this is a legit 240lb (offseason) 5'9" monster that has won multiple overalls at national qualifiers.

He thinks a lot comes down to high doses of GH and slin. He said he was able to pack on quite a bit of muscle after he had pretty much plateaued using slin. Slin is probably the most dangerous thing out though. He said using pharma GH made a big difference when he used it but it is too expensive to use for most people let alone at high doses.

We always wondered though how they made that last jump after they seemed to have maximized their potential. It is not like a guy winning at USAs or Nationals is not taking shit serious on cycles pretty much year round. So how some people find that next pro level is still a mystery to us.

when you get enough money you can afford enough Pharma GH, Slin, probably get Pharma AAS connection too. that way you have everything 100% legit.

Kai vs Phil as a guest poser....Kai wins hands down. Kai put up a clip of him from today's NPC New York State Grand Prix, and he goes all out when he guest poses. Crazy ass costume, throws in some dancing, goes through the crowd, and this is all before he even gets up to the stage.

Ramy is placing how he deserves at the moment. This is the only real threat in moving up the ranks at the moment on the olympia stage, he is maintaining size also getting bigger in the process every year for the past two years of his competitive life as a pro. But he just needs some time. I think he is being pushed heavy by middle east personnel. Its another story if politics ever interfere with his potential. But the money, and the right drug availability is there for him at moment.

Yes I heard the same as far as the right drug availability he has the magic bullet...Its frightening to really realize how much ramy has developed in such a short bodybuilding career. As far as the truth to that amount of time I don't know.
