Ok a disclaimer this log won't be for all of you as a matter of fact it might be for a small majority. No bodybuilding or powerlifting here just a 42 year old man looking for a couple seasons playing competitive traveling club soccer. I hope through this log to create some accountability, focus on joint and ligament strengthening, and anti-aging.

Here are my current stats give me a week I will put up pics.
42 years old
16-18% Bf
258 lbs
6' even I think I can round up to 6"1" but whatever.

I have been an avid gym rat 17-18 years. I has always been about getting bigger for me. Well now I am on a new quest to get under 240 lbs and get a little faster. I think I can give up at least 12-14 lbs through body fat loss. That leaves 12-14 lbs of muscle to sacrifice kind of sucks considering the time and effort I put into gaining it but my goals have changed

Diet diet is simple I am starting on a low carb 2200-2500 calorie diet This will speed the front end of the weight loss curve up and knowing me I will run it about 3-4 weeks before moving to a more balanced macro approach with the same calories.

Workouts I am struggling here been running 4x6 type workouts for so long IDK this is open for discussion. Just remember I know I will sacrifice muscle but I will keep the mentality of maintaining as much as I can.

What am I running?
3 ius every day pharm grade Gh Been doing this for about 2 months already.
I just started last week...
Test E 300mg ew split doses
Deca 300mg ew
NPP 100 ed switching to eod until the vial runs out then cruise on the above.

I love the nandrolone have cut with it many times at lower doses. The Gh has had my joints hurting because of the repair the new growth in the joints needs time to strengthen i call it growing pains. From what I understand at around 4 months I should be over this joint pain and the new growth will strengthen and mature so to speak. So the NPP kicked in today and yes I feel much better and ready to get to it. This is good start I know I have thing s to add but look forward on sharing this journey with the board.

Oh yea we start practice around mid-March. After about 8-10 weeks I will cut the test and deca in half and cruise through the season. Thanks for any input as you can see I have no plan fro my workouts as far as weight training. I obviously have cardio and sport specific training too but I have that figured out.

I am a few years younger than you, but I am closer to 40 than 30. As I get older being "big" seems less important than feeling "good". The years of training have taken a toal on joints and ligaments, & it is time for me to lose some weight as well. I am going to be starting to cut in a few weeks, & will be really interested to follow your progress. I think the biggest challenge for me will also be losing the fat while trying to minimize muscle loss, and I would be really interested to know how you respond to the changes in your diet. If you could post some specifics about your diet during this process that would be excellent. Good luck and thanks for sharing this man. Much appreciated.

I got 4 years on you and I am glad you decided to do it after all! I started running and biking again in the last 3 weeks. I have not changed my diet. I eat very clean anyways. Since starting this, fat and I am sure some muscle loss is happening. But I am looking pretty damn good the wifie says and I do feel less sluggish.

If you are starting your cardio with this diet and lifting some,I don't think you have to worry to much about losing all this prior to the season starting. The practices alone will help shred whatever the body cannot use for the new (old) endeavor. The human body is smart that way. It will eliminate what it cannot use or breakdown.

Good luck volt. How much of an improvement in endurance do you notice from nandrolone use?
Idk if equates with EQ as far as helping with endurance. It definitely helps with recovery allowing me to train more frequently therefore helping endurance. Combined with the test at the levels I am using this is what I am looking for .... Recovery.

I will post what I am eating it won't be much and very boring.

Whoop whoop, get it Vol!!

I see you're not taking the tren route, I'm not sure why but this saddens me.. :(

Looking forward to pics and watching this transformation unfold.. :)

I had a feeling you were going to say that about the tren. I hemmed and hawed over that and decided I didn't need my cardio in the shitter the gh leaves me lethargic enough I am adding some T4 into the mix.

Volt, fellow soccer player here. Low dose Tren with trt test did wonders for me for endurance and amazing fast recovery.

Damn feel like I am in high school such peer pressure with the trend......honestly when I first was figuring out my protocol. I was leaning towards a 3 week run with what you ran above. Assumption was with a good diet that would be a nice kick start. I am human and a dad so I chickened out and went with what I knew.

Alright breakfast this morning 4 eggs over easy and some Corned beef hash little high on the sodium for me because as know Nandrolone and salt = bloat. Good thing it is the morning I can sweat it our at my workout. 748 calories a little on the high side every Wednesday I meet friends for an early breakfast and this is what I hace but it is fuel for the rest of the day. So my thoughts are I am going to go for compound movements on lifting days higher reps but exercises that work multiple muscle groups. I am going to get away from isolating muscles except for my legs.

Subbed for sure. Please at some point through the season we need to see footage of a 240lb fit you bearing down on defenders at full pace. Them boys be thinking about moving aside no doubt.
Good luck man
I don't know I play with quite a few Brazilians and Mexicans they tend to stand their ground. I have noticed the Africans I have played with and against tend to be the ones who shy away. I will get a video I am planning on having my wife or son film.
