PCT training advice

im only running the short esters and i peak at around week 6-7 on prop so pushing it to 9-10 weeks with the taper wouldnt be too much of a problem. Im curious as to what readings you have done about the recovery from a high dose as opposed to the trt dose. I can see how the body will more readily respond to the high dose, with such a high fluctuation, but ive just never heard that it was difficult to come off of a low dose

I'm not saying it's harder to come off the low dose. I'm saying it maybe harder to recover bc instead of stopping at wk 12 for example with test e, you run a low dose short ester or even the same ester for an extra few weeks. It's those extra few weeks being on I'm talking about. If you meant some other protocol where the length of time on is the same then i misinterpreted you.

Yeah you pretty much get what I'm saying, I do see the difference of keeping it short and sweet. Any experience of when an appropriate time to come off is? Like if I peak at 6-7 weeks should I come off at week 8 to keep it short, or extend to 10 weeks to allow my body to get used to extra size/strength or would this just bring us back to the extended suppression issue

I don't know enough to know to what degree recovery is impaired by length of suppression. Maybe Dr. Scally or Dr. Jim have something to point to?

It's ultimately up to you to determine how long to be on. I personally don't do less than 12wks on a longer ester but I've decided the risk was acceptable enough to me so I'm ok with it. I do think that if you do run a cycle you should at least run it long enough for the benefit to be worth it but again that's a value you place on it

I think it's all user specific and based on individual goals is what Doc is getting @...

-Got a single big sports event coming up?
Tailor your workout according to your needs, a short ester high dose blast with orals would be my go-to.
-Wanna add 30lbs in the offseason, low dose long ester 16-20 week cycle would be my go to.
-Wanna get ready for a contest prep? Seems like a lot of guys switch from long esters to short esters pump up the dose and AI and reduce test to drop water and blast heavy.
-Wanna be 300lbs @ 6ft when you graduated HS @ 180lbs soaking wet? IF you have the genetic potential I would argue to get there you're gonna have to commit to staying ON.

All of these scenarios have much different PCT requirements or blasts/cruise...

Obviously there is more than one way to skin a cat and there is just no cookie-cutter recipe to achieve whatever your goals are. It's the constant pursuit of knowledge and sharing practical hands on experience that brings this community together to share info and grow. Well if that's your back in your avi ^^^ looks like you are putting the work in..keep at it.

You should post more you're asking the right questions and taking advice, sometimes we have to ask the questions in our minds to lead us to the question that we are not yet aware to ask. Stay hungry my friend

Yeah man that's me in the pic, I've been lurking on this site for a while, just don't wanna post too much cause I don't have experience, don't wanna push people in the wrong direction or open my mouth about things I don't have experience on

The reason I recommended that you step down to low dose test for a few weeks before you switch to serms is because you said you had a very bad crash last time. When I step down to low dose test for a few weeks I always have a much easier time switching to the serms, instead of just going from a heavy cycle with multiple compounds to nothing. Granted the cycle will be a little bit longer but it won't be so much of a shock to your body. It has worked well for me ,150 mg of Test E or C for 3 or 4 weeks made a huge difference.
