I catch them all the time. Bull reds are so fun to catch. I have a 15' marsh kayak. It allows me to hit the marsh on a low tide and I can see the backs of those reds. I cast right infront of them and enjoy the ride that the fish takes me on for about 5-10 mins. I posted pics a while back of my set up

That snapper looks awesome!! Took my dad out on a charter a few months ago and got a few mangroves and a 30lb cobia.. Need to get out again soon!
On top of the mountain of food i feel like i ate today, I'm up at 2am inhaling 1lb of ground beef and 2 cups of rice, godamnit im hungry latley.
If you like that ride you should try out spear fishing bro...nothing like shooting a 100lb Amberjack while scuba diving and hold on for dear life..fun shit bro

Im glad to see most of us live close to the ocean , Im about 1/2 mile from the Pacific....but its not as warm as the Gulf . I got alot of good memories of Texas ....my good bro lives in San Antonio and keeps begging for me to visit again . Someday maybe

Ive got a crazy ass buddy thats does it. He actually is holding some records for it here in TX. I bet it would be a rush. He said he goes out to the rigs and wraps his legs around one of the pillars and spears fish and pulls them to him and then he stabs them with his knife. Sounds cool but I would be worried about the sharks and the blood in the water. He said his shinny knife attracts them.

Yikes, Bro there are so many nice places to live around San Antonio. I wouldn't live there. Check out Austin, San Marcus, New Braunfels
It's a big "IF" my gf will get the job in SA in a few years and she'll want to be close to her job in the city...Austin is fun as hell

Holy cow awesome fish! I absolutely love fishing, can't wait till the weather breaks I'm going to be going hard on the fishing.
New Braunfels is a cool place , I made several runs there ; got that German thing going on ....A friend and I camped out and took a canoe down the Guadalupe River when I was in my 20"s ....

Some of my favorite memories with friends is on that river. It's called " The Coldest Hottest Place In The World". It can be 110 out and that damn river is in the 40-50s
