A Southern Yankee's Winter Blast

Just got done injecting 1cc test in each delt and 1.5 cc deca in left glute.

This was my 2nd time ever pinning delts. Laying side ways on the heat pad now. Hoping to not have much pip since its really virgin there.

Cant wait to see what I weigh in at tomorrow. Im hoping to officially hit 270. That would be new territory for me:D

Whats for dinner Trkkr??? My CNS is SMOKED!! Living off water, protein shakes and vitamins (mostly C) for the last two days, no sleep, shaky like a Kennedy at a gun show. Im not going to the gym until I can sleep through the night and eat 6 solid meals again in one day. Ive never gotten myself to this point. I'm sure my e2 creeping up isnt helping, that should be fixed in a day or so ;)

@Oregongearhead ive read so much from you about diet and training but it seems like I hardly read about your cycling (compounds, doses etc...) Are you in the same school of thought as @HuckingFuge on this. From what I recall you guys are pretty close in stature and weight? I can only speak for myself, but I think several of us would love to hear you chime in on this one as well.

Ive been off for 3 months (Annual med test)

Im a simple guy , 500-600mg/wk test maybe 400 deca or EQ . I like orals but only lightly (4 wks) and never mix them .The look is mostly about diet/bodyfat %.~Ogh

Sleeps a bitch , especially as you get older . Im a mid-cycle insomniac . 3:00 am every morning . Wide awake , leak the lizard a few times then spend 2 hours trying to back to sleep . Sometimes I don"t get back . Sleep study says "your all over the place on the graph , sleep apnea and PTSD ".

Asian doctor told me my problems are from too big of a neck and my "buffalo humps" (traps).lol

I am OVER TRAINED my good brother. No doubt about it. Ive heard people say it and Ive had people say it to me "You cant over train"- and I know everybody thinks they are a retarded wilderbeast in the gym but I promise what i'm doing is enough to fuck me up.
I noticed that I was particularly licked after legs a few days back (I think i mentioned it here?). I had a day off, then back day. After that I woke up the next day all fucked up, nerves, felt like I had been hit by a truck, no sleep, cant eat.
I will say right now and fight to the death over this: overdoing it on volume is nothing like overdoing FAILURE training. Some people have some funny ideas about failure training:
1 - Lactic acid buildup is not failure.
2 - Running out of wind is not failure.
3 - On rep 7 you say to yourself, ok one more is my last, I wont get another.... this is mental failure, not muscular failure.
Muscular failure is - "Fucking help me, the weights are moving the opposite direction that I am pushing (pulling)....
I usually run 3 exercises last set each to failure per body part. This of course after i've done plenty of warm up sets and i'm working with a fully pumped muscle (group). Gym session usually going no longer than 90minutes (with stretching).

I know that was pretty long winded and i don't mean to hijack, but my brain is like scrambled eggs right now. ;)

PS- My ridiculously hot wife has been gone all week too, this doesn't help, lol :D
 
Hell ya! Your doin your thing. Probably abit over board. Your absolutely right. Failure training is grueling. Now you feel like you have AIDS.

I dont think I could deal with my wife being gone a week. What the hell would I do?
 
4/8/15 wednesday CHEST&BICEPS

Time to change completely. Entering my heavy phase. I haven't benched heavy in a very very long time. Till today

Flat bench 5 sets 275x7 pressed high on the chest. Not quite a guillotine press but no where near a powerlifting style.

Dumbbell incline press 30deg
3 sets 85'sx9

Flat dumbbell flyes
3 sets 40's x 11

Pullovers
2 sets 25lb plate x 18
Deep deep breathes for chest expansion

Biceps

7 sets
preachers close grip ez curl bar
75x11 strip down all the way to 45lb
Moving quickly between sets the lighter it got

100reps straight leg raises
10 min cardio

Suprised on how my bench was. I haven't benched that heavy since high school. I think I could of easily repped 300. Gotta get the body used to the heavier stuff. Periodization is key. I may stick with this for 3-5 weeks
 
I dont feel as depleted as I normally do when I go lighter and squeeze the contractions. I feel good right now just good. Super stoked for next week. Ill go for 3hundo so how many strict reps I can squeeze out. The heavy phase is exciting. I figured it was time for a change. Normally I do all bench work at 225 and a myriad of isolation exercises intended to contract the muscle most effectively. This next 3-5wks will be different
 
Took today off. Ive found the day after chest/bi is a good day to take off before back/tri. I grow faster it seems this way. The heavy weight snuck up on me. Woke up pretty tore up. Close grip bicep curls have me feeling like new growth is just around the corner. Im listening to my body. It says rest :D

On another note im getting depressed. Just realized i only have 2.5 vials left of my deca, which means im closer to the end of the cycle. Sucks. I feel fine no real negative effects. Gotta make sure my bp is good cuz my physical is coming up. If it is im likely going to stay on high test only. Gotta order some more in if im going to do that. I wanna make @HuckingFuge proud maybe a gram on cruise lol maybe not

Feel fortunate you didn't hit a nerve! Hit one a few weeks ago. The pin even jumped around. I haven't had that happen in a long time.

Ya I know. Its been a while for me too.

On another note a reason I dislike delt injections is cuz the gear drains slightly in to the upper arm. Like it is now. Creating a small lump on the upper arm near the bone.
 
I gotta look in to calf injections. Im being serious. I need another site to add to the rotation. There is alot of real estate below my knees I think it could take alot. Im assuming you can just inject in to the thickest part but idk. I gotta get edumaccated on where I should do it

I did this a few times prior to BB shows and regretted. F'ing hurts and takes a while for the lump to go away.

So what's the best way to approach cutting drug wise? I know tren is a front runner but id like to consider other options first. I wanna make a strong appearance pool side this summer lol

I wouldn't be able to advise other than to say getting e2 down in the 30's would be must. Why not run tren a with your trt dose combined with impeccable diet?
Edit: keep the protien high
