I am OVER TRAINED my good brother. No doubt about it. Ive heard people say it and Ive had people say it to me "You cant over train"- and I know everybody thinks they are a retarded wilderbeast in the gym but I promise what i'm doing is enough to fuck me up.
I noticed that I was particularly licked after legs a few days back (I think i mentioned it here?). I had a day off, then back day. After that I woke up the next day all fucked up, nerves, felt like I had been hit by a truck, no sleep, cant eat.
I will say right now and fight to the death over this: overdoing it on volume is nothing like overdoing FAILURE training. Some people have some funny ideas about failure training:
1 - Lactic acid buildup is not failure.
2 - Running out of wind is not failure.
3 - On rep 7 you say to yourself, ok one more is my last, I wont get another.... this is mental failure, not muscular failure.
Muscular failure is - "Fucking help me, the weights are moving the opposite direction that I am pushing (pulling)....
I usually run 3 exercises last set each to failure per body part. This of course after i've done plenty of warm up sets and i'm working with a fully pumped muscle (group). Gym session usually going no longer than 90minutes (with stretching).
I know that was pretty long winded and i don't mean to hijack, but my brain is like scrambled eggs right now.
PS- My ridiculously hot wife has been gone all week too, this doesn't help, lol
